The timeline is so obvious it hurts.
Sep 17:
Julian Assange returns: "I'm back."
His team warns: massive leaks next week.
Sep 19:
Internet explodes over Snowden's pardon.
Same week:
Europe orders 450M people to prep for war.
Germany turns subways into bomb shelters.
Finland drafts men up to age 65.
They don't want you reading the files.
They don't want you questioning the state.
They want you terrified in a basement,
watching missiles on TV,
clutching canned soup.
War is the ultimate cover-up.
When truth threatens the empire,
the empire burns the world.
“They wrote in the old days that it is sweet and fitting to die for ones country. But in modern war there is nothing sweet nor fitting in your dying. You will die like a dog for no good reason.”
- Ernest Hemingway
Ernest Hemingway wrote the line in his 1935 essay “Notes on the Next War” to push back against old ideas of patriotism and battle. He was answering the Roman poet Horace, who had called it sweet and fitting to die for one’s country.
As an ambulance driver in World War I, Hemingway had seen the slaughter himself and rejected that romantic picture of sacrifice. Industrial war, he argued, leaves no room for personal glory and turns lives into waste. When he said soldiers die like dogs for no good reason, he was warning that modern conflict is mass killing without meaning, not noble heroism.
🇲🇦🇪🇸 Video from Ceuta shows a large crowd of young Moroccan men gathered behind a gate.
When authorities open it they start pouring out while officers stand nearby.
Can we finally call this an invasion?

If you think home prices crashing is bad, you have fiat brain. Homes are consumer goods and the cheaper they are the better. You only think of them as an investment asset because your money is broken & you have never known savings.
“I’m buying spot Anthropic on the Solana blockchain” has to be one of the funniest phrases I’ve heard this week.
There is nothing spot about this.
Brother you are 4 layers of financial abstraction and broker crime away from touching an actual Anthropic share certificate.
Your “spot” position is a tokenized receipt for possible future economic exposure to a Cayman SPV that owns shares in another Delaware SPV that maybe owns rights to future equity pending transfer approval.
You are approximately Anthropic-adjacent at best
41 kidnappings of crypto holders in France in 3.5 months of 2026.
Why?
🥖 French tax officials selling crypto owners' data to criminals (Ghalia C.) + massive tax database leaks.
Now the state also wants IDs and private messages of social media users.
More data = More victims.
Age of Empires developer Sandy Petersen explains the biggest differences between the peak of game development in the 90s and current day:
"Back in the day game companies were generally left-wing just as they are now. However, the left has moved further, more radically leftwards. I could voice support for George Bush in the early 2000s and while my co-workers disagreed, I wasn’t made a pariah. Now the forces of progressiveness seem to be literally threatening game companies to toe the line or be cancelled.
But look at what’s happened. Groups like Sweet Baby have been pilloried and nearly destroyed. Fans, driven to the edge, are fighting back. I hate all this. I don’t want fans to HAVE to 'fight back' against game companies. I don’t want game companies to pander to a tiny percentage of players who probably hate their games anyway.
I look forward to games becoming the priority."
Do you think these companies are getting the message? Will they make games the priority?
Kid knocked on my door
“Sir, I can clean your trash cans for $20,” he told me nervously
Must have been 10 years old
Asked how many customers he’s had
About 10 so far this week
I thought for a moment
That’s a $10,400 annual run rate
“I’ll buy your business, kid. How does $300,000 sound?”
His face lit up
“Yes!” He eagerly shouted
I lined up dozens of new customers and told him to get to work cleaning
I issued $300,000 worth of new shares in a shell company and transferred them to the kid
A few weeks later, he had made thousands of dollars for me by diligently cleaning garbage cans
But then he came to me with a problem
“Sir, my dad tried selling those shares you gave me, but there’s no bid. I can’t access any of the money.”
Not my problem. Now get back to work, you are locked into a 5-year contract with a strict non-compete.
Welcome to the real world kid.
