#Watch | Built in 1010 CE by Raja Raja Chola I, the temple continues to fascinate historians and engineers with its towering 60-metre vimana and the 80-tonne granite capstone placed at its summit.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the temple showcases the brilliance of Chola architecture through its monumental Shiva Lingam, the massive monolithic Nandi and intricate inscriptions that have preserved over a millennium of history.

Even after more than 1,000 years, its remarkable engineering and construction techniques continue to inspire curiosity and admiration.

The Jal Jeevan Mission continues to transform rural drinking water access across India, with over 82% of rural households now receiving functional tap water connections.

Alongside expanding coverage, the Centre has strengthened water quality monitoring, contamination response mechanisms and testing protocols to ensure every household receives safe and potable drinking water under the Har Ghar Jal initiative.

On completing four years of her tenure, President Droupadi Murmu unveiled a series of citizen-centric initiatives at Rashtrapati Bhavan, focusing on accessibility, sustainability, child welfare and public engagement.

The President launched the third edition of e-Upahaar, RAAHI and Bachpan 'Bal Parisar', which includes the 'Kilkari' play zone and 'Samarth Anganwadi-cum-Palna' for children.

To enhance visitor experience, the President also launched a multilingual e-Audio Guide along with sign language support.

From a long-cherished aspiration to a historic reality, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya stands as one of the most significant milestones in India's recent history.

Following the Supreme Court's verdict in 2019, the construction of the temple progressed through constitutional and democratic processes. With the Bhoomi Pujan in 2020 and the consecration ceremony in 2024, millions of devotees witnessed the fulfilment of a generations-old dream.

Today, the Ram Mandir is a symbol of faith, cultural heritage and civilisational continuity, while also contributing to Ayodhya's emergence as a major spiritual and cultural destination.

#WATCH | India secured major economic and strategic gains through high-level engagements with the UAE, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Italy and the Nordic region, strengthening cooperation in energy security, trade, defence, artificial intelligence, green technology and industrial innovation.

The UAE announced investments worth 5 billion US dollars in India, while key agreements with European partners focused on clean energy, critical minerals, advanced manufacturing, connectivity and emerging technologies. India also expanded cooperation under the India-Nordic Summit and reviewed progress on the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), which aims to boost trade and market access.

These partnerships are expected to accelerate India’s clean energy transition, digital growth, industrial expansion and global economic integration.

The Ministry of Culture offers the “Award of Scholarships to Young Artists in Different Cultural Fields”, providing financial support to talented youth artists for advanced training in the arts.

The scheme awards 400 scholarships annually to artists aged 18 to 25 years, offering ₹5,000 per month for two years. It covers fields such as classical music, dance, theatre, visual arts, and folk and traditional arts.

Eligible applicants must have at least five years of training under a Guru or recognised institute. Applications can be submitted online through the designated portal when the notification is issued.
