Not surprised. On May 19, 2026, another Nepali traveler was wrongly accused of having fake documents by IndiGo staff at Delhi Airport, despite holding a valid passport and tickets. He recorded the entire confrontation.
Nepalese passport holders continue to face repeated extra scrutiny, rude questioning, and humiliation at Indian airports. Similar cases, including Shambhawi Adhikari’s viral transit ordeal in Nov 2025, show this pattern is ongoing.
