राज्यातील अनेक परीक्षा TCS iON Center वर सुरळीत होत असताना 25 जानेवारी 2026 रोजी होणाऱ्या PMC ज्युनियर अभियंता परीक्षा खाजगी आणि वाईट रेटींग असलेल्या केंद्रावर का घेतली जात आहे? आधीच भरमसाठ फी त्यात आपल्या शहरापासून शेकडो किमी लांब असलेली खाजगी परिक्षा केंद्रे विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी सोईस्कर नाहीत. मागील काही परीक्षांमधील गैरप्रकार पाहता या परिक्षा खाजगी परीक्षा केंद्रावर न घेता अधिकृत अशा TCS ioN केंद्रावरच घ्याव्यात जेणेकरून पारदर्शकता आणि व्यवहार्यता जपली जाईल.

Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce’s Principal Dr. Nivedita Gajanan Ekbote has posted a letter on her social media saying that Prem Birhade was not issued a letter because of his “unsatisfactory conduct and disciplinary record during his tenure as a student.” But the letter also says that he was issued 3 Letter of Recommendations and Bonafide Certificate previously; Prem had used for his admission process in the UK.

If Prem Birhade’s conduct was truly “unsatisfactory” during his time at Modern College, then how do she explain that the same college issued him not one, not two, but three Letters of Recommendation along with a Bonafide Certificate. These were used by him to apply for admission to a university in the UK.

So what changed?

Why was he fit for recommendation then, but now after securing a place abroad the college suddenly finds his character problematic?

Let’s be honest. This isn’t about discipline. This is about discomfort. Discomfort with a Dalit student daring to rise beyond the limits society quietly sets for him!

What the college has done isn’t just unethical, it’s a targeted and discriminatory act! It’s academic sabotage rooted in caste prejudice!
Instead of celebrating his success, they chose to block his path.

We need to call this what it is: caste-based discrimination. And it’s not just wrong, it’s criminal!
