The biggest problem with most people who want to become youtubers is that they want to be a youtuber first.
I think we should want to become interesting first, and use youtube as a platform to share our knowledge/experiences and support our own self-development
I guarantee you there is a book out there that is relevant to you in such a way that after going through a few pages, you'll get seriously hooked.
What philosophical concepts naturally attract you? What genre do you like most? Start there.
Choose something that isn't too easy such that it will bore you, but don't also jump straight to a complex book that requires context that you don't have yet.
Seek desirable difficulty
@AlisonChainsCA@cargostick@internetuserf12@grok Why then does the CDC ex director believe this has pandemic potential then? I would imagine that in western countries diseases that spread via sweat, blood and urine would hardly grow bigger than local-ish clusters. Am I wrong?
@martinmrmar But you're only protecting the covers, not the book itself.
Either way that's such a strange behaviour... might want to think about it more?
Specially when it's a hardcover, why deprive yourself of such beauty?
@martinmrmar You make these paper covers and cover your covers with them and apparently leave them on when you read the books.
So why do this if you can't see the original cover? Why protect something that will stay hidden and probably never going to get much visible damage anyway?
