@DevinOlsenn Idk that was shadows that I was really avoiding - it swerved to avoid the shadow of that pole, but then it steered straight into shadows of trees.
Maybe it was something else?
It’d be helpful if FSD displayed text dialogue on the screen like “braking for VRU” or “shadows”
@claughlin@DevinOlsenn I mean it’s not good to hear the navigation problems on other continents, but just fyi - I’m in Florida in the US, and navigation is an issue here also.
@DevinOlsenn@JCChristopher That’s something that needs to go - and I think it will - it’s going that way. On 14.3.3, you can’t initially start FSD with the stalk - that was a new change from earlier SW versions.
Little by little, Tesla is removing “things” from FSD…junipers & HLs don’t even have a stalk
@actuallyajoke@DavidMoss I know that 98-99% of my car’s use has been on FSD; longest streak is 104 miles. Most are in the 50-80 mile range (many less), and if they see that I’m doing all these FSD miles but I’m disengaging every 50 miles due to parking & navigation 🤷🏻♂️
@leixing77 The pedestrian was facing in the opposite direction as you. They were facing towards the oncoming traffic in that lane. They were possibly waiting for the bus(?)
Obviously better to err on the side of caution - and this was safe - nobody directly behind you.
@DevinOlsenn I think you’re not giving it credit where credit is due. I’ve got it on video multiple times where FSD slows down or behaves in anticipation of something happening.
Sometimes it’s nothing. Sometimes I’m like wtf 🤣
@bilalsattar@niccruzpatane@wholemars EFff my streak. I know that I do 98-99% of my driving on FSD, so if they keep seeing that my longest streak is 80 miles, and most under 50, and when I get that black box that asks why I disengaged, they’ll figure out that it’s almost all for parking and/or bad navigation.
