@SFlipp @mieze_riot @kipjmooney Obligatory "USSR practiced state capitalism" but, I mean, a democratically run economy would generally tend toward building things that will 1) last a while and 2) provide a good QoL, which includes making things look good, or at the very least, not depressing
@shaun_vids I really think generative image/video AI on its own will eventually settle into the "here I need a quick sketch to show someone what I'm thinking" which will be especially useful with video. The AI "art" fantasy is already on its way out.
@Rose_midnights@Moonlight_42069 Nobody here is giving you an actual response, so I will: U.S. politics affect global politics in ways that are not exactly that deeply hidden. Imperialist practices for maintaining power in regions with highly valuable resources, i.e. oil, are affected by American politics.
@1_john_2_27 @Gritty20202 Lol, if anyone's wondering, "programming" refers to ordering the broadcasts in a way that makes sense, like having kids' shows play after the hours that school gets out.
@lucaspcdias @AB2kGR @opinonhaver But not all children have the same learning capabilities. It literally would be impossible to test this unless the child had a previous scoring benchmark from going to a public school
@MW4Liberty @sunpuddledays @ewarren Hey, if you take one economics class, you'll learn about this thing called "externalities," of which you are not displaying even a rudimentary understanding
@fuckyouiquit First & foremost should be that it's good for people. Saying "ohh but it's actually good for revenues" inherently cedes ground to the neoliberalist view that money is king
@errorsimulator@ItsPabloBruh@GunnelsWarren Economics is way more complicated than "give tax exemptions to attract business," and I would suggest you do some genuine reading on the subject before rushing to defend such an action.
@lueminescence Probably because if a book says "2" and you haven't read the first one (or don't recognize the series), you might not even bother picking it up.
@GeoNance@hankgreen There are 4 points to a breakfast:
1) It is the first meal of the day.
2) It is eaten within two hours of waking up.
3) It is eaten before 10:00am.
4) It consists of traditional breakfast foods.
The number of these that are satisfied determines just how breakfast something is.
@wediditkid27 @stannymcc @spidermystics That stemmed from a much wider knowledge of the inherently unethical thing he programmed, Notch made Minecraft which (aside from the Villagers) is pretty normal and he's just a POS on the side
