@LinaTruthSeeker@CNN Aoun wants peace. Israel can respect that.
But Lebanon’s foreign policy still seems to come with a Hezbollah veto and an Iranian remote control.
Hard to sign peace with the spokesman when the gunman runs the room.

@LinaTruthSeeker If you move to a country that gave you safety, opportunity, welfare, education, and freedom, why are you burning its streets, looting its stores, attacking its police, and destroying its neighborhoods?

Apparently Tehran’s diplomacy package comes with live ammunition.

Trump says he will probably meet Iran's Supreme Leader at some point.
Think about that for a moment.
Trump sits next to the man whose regime funds Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and militias across the Middle East, crushes dissent at home, hangs protesters, and has spent decades chanting "Death to America."
What exactly is there to discuss?
Will they talk about peace?
The weather?
Is it a bad movie we're living in?
The Iranian people have spent years risking imprisonment, torture, and death while hoping the free world would finally stand with them against their oppressors.
Instead, they watch Western leaders line up to negotiate with the very regime that terrorizes them.
A meeting between America and a free Iran would be something worth celebrating.
A meeting with the men who stole Iran from the Iranian people feels like something else entirely.
At what point do we admit that diplomacy has become the regime's favorite survival strategy?
