#Rivals might be better known for its saucier moments, but THAT kitchen scene in the new season is sublime. 10 minutes of some of the best television I've watched in ages. Classic British farce that really shows off the comedic talents of the cast.
@gibson_gibson3@mkenn80 I think they are interested because of the success of the Brookside rerun on STV Player and they also had a good response when they repeated Eldorado last year.
@RobronHQ@emmerdale Tommy only appeared in the early episodes. When the Merrick family returned in the early 80s, he had been retconned out of existence. There is also Robert's niece Louise (Sandy's daughter) who might have a family of her own by now.
Dad’s books are full of empathy, common sense, and a healthy suspicion of the powerful. But at its heart his work is also about how systems keep people poor while pretending it’s their own fault. So I hope Kemi’s taking notes as well as reading the jokes.

@DuncanLindsay Despite that particular individual, I'm actually more excited than usual about the line-up. Bal, Stefan, Alex and Kristian are all a draw for me.
Most young voters are attracted to parties, like @LibDems, who offer a positive future.
Most young voters are turned off by parties, like the #Conservatives and #Reform, that bang on about returning to a mythical past.
