Hmmm. I just had a bizarre experience, involving a global news organisation and a trillion dollar corporation. (I got caught in the middle, so... owch.)
It’s not the sort of experience the people involved usually talk about in public… so I think I’ll talk about it in public.

Mastodon is an open source platform that is part of a more open and inclusive internet. It does not have a shady ad-driven algorithmic timeline, it just has the people you like and want to interact with.
Mastodon dot social is a good starting point.
Come join.
Twitter is dying. Come over to Mastodon. It’s where the good people are.
I’d link it, but Twitter is currently warning against Mastodon links cause Musk is a giant dork ass loser.
Bought my first @EA game in like a decade and holy shit their launcher is absolute garbage. Regular crashes, massive network usage for no reason, updates not starting, games taking two minutes to launch.
You’re clearly shit at this. Let someone else take care of it FFS.
Programming is chaotic magic. There are no rules. You ask a game dev “Can the player summon a giant demon that bursts from the ground in an explosion of lava?” and they’ll say “sure, that’s easy” and then you’ll ask “can the player wear a scarf?” and they’ll go “oof”
Oh, so when other ppl call their pets "fur baby" its fine but when I call a kid a "skin dog" somehow I'm "disgusting" and "the worst pediatrician in this hospital"??
🥳 WOOO!New version of my daily word game TaiWord is now out! 🥳
Special thanks to @SimonFairbairn for coming in clutch and helping me get this over line & to all the people who play tested!
I hope you love it! As always see you on the leaderboards! 🚀

I said I’d stay away from twitter till Wednesday a couple of days ago and, by and large, I have. But owing to recent events and continuous garbage I keep coming across, I needed to say this with 42 minutes before I hit Wednesday…
I'm seeing some misunderstanding the benefits debate as if it were workers v unemployed.
Roughly 40% of those who receive Universal Credit get them as in-work benefits to top up low incomes. Many others too have disabilities or mental health problems making work difficult.
