Anthropic at $965B edging out OpenAI at $852B is the clearest signal yet that private AI valuations have entered pure narrative territory.

The revenue ramps are real, the talent wars are brutal, and Databricks at $188B shows the enterprise layer still has gravity. But these numbers only work if the eventual public markets keep buying the story at the same multiple. Paper crowns don’t pay the GPU bills.

This is a photo taken in 1950 on KLM. At the time, Martin M-130s, Lockheed Constellations, and Douglas DC-6s operated by airlines such as KLM and the now-defunct Trans World Airlines (TWA) had beds in both the upper and lower berths.

These beds featured mattresses, Pullman-style curtains for privacy, windows, reading lights, and even breakfast-in-bed service.

At the time, a round-trip economy airfare from New York to London on a Boeing 377 Stratocruiser cost about $580 (about $12,000 today).

The baggage racks as we know them today were phased out during the late 1960s and early 1970s.

A baby born in 1985 believes his grandparents have no idea how hard life is,
and survived several wars and disasters.

A boy born in 1995 and 25 today believes that the end of the world when his Amazon package takes more than three days to arrive or if he doesn't exceed 15 likes for his posted photo on Facebook or Instagram...

In 2020., many of us live in comfort, have access to various sources of entertainment at home and often have more than needed.

But people complain.

They have electricity, phone, food, hot water and a roof over their heads.

None of this existed.

But humanity survived much more serious circumstances and never lost the joy of life.

Maybe it's time to be less selfish, stop whining and crying and be positive.

He boarded a late-night flight with his 8-month-old baby and handed out 100 pairs of earplugs to fellow passengers, just in case the little one cried.

Before takeoff, Mr. Chen walked down the aisle apologizing in advance and offering earplugs to everyone nearby. Most passengers kindly refused, telling him that babies crying on planes is completely normal, while around 20 to 30 accepted the thoughtful gesture.

The baby only cried briefly, but the father’s consideration left a lasting impression.

His story was praised for his empathy, courtesy, and respect for others. On the return flight, he even gave the remaining earplugs to the cabin crew so they could offer them to passengers if needed.

A small act of kindness turned an ordinary flight into a powerful reminder that consideration can make any shared space better for everyone.

Elon saying medical school is “pointless” because Optimus will outperform every human surgeon by 2029 and leave them in the dust shortly after is peak accelerationist energy.

Directionally correct. Robots don’t get tired, don’t need 12 years of training, and scale infinitely. Doctor shortages + sky-high healthcare costs make this inevitable.

Timeline? Classic Elon. Regulatory, liability, and trust hurdles are real. 2029 is aggressive. But the end state, abundant, high-quality care better than what presidents get today, is where we’re headed.

The winners won’t be the pure manual surgeons. It’ll be the ones who learn to work with the machines.

AI prices are falling off a cliff, and open source is the main reason.

OpenAI just cut GPT-5.6 Luna by 80% (now $0.20 / $1.20 per million tokens) and dropped Terra 20%. Their own chart shows Luna delivering top-tier intelligence at a fraction of the cost of Claude and Gemini.

Closed models are being forced to compete because open-weight models keep raising the bar on performance while driving costs toward zero. The price/intelligence curve is collapsing faster than almost anyone predicted.
