@DavidPocock The $45 billion they save just raises the company profit by the same amount. So it goes onto the bottom line which they pay 30% tax on. Money going around in circles basically.
@2worldsPodcast@JEChalmers Maybe listen to Rogans podcast #2514. He has a great advice about podcasting. Bottom line a constant stream of Negativity is the great turn off.
@AusExplained Private Health insurance is like insuring your $20,000 car for $10,000 with a $5,000 excess. You can thank government legalisation for that screw up.
@NickMcKim How about stop whinging, go and invest, start a business, create wealth and employ someone so they can do the same. Never met a poor person who was in a position to give me a job. But a rich person gave me that opportunity and now I do the same.
@australian The only rental properties are investment properties. Albo is just doing what Victoria did there housing market. Destroying it. Enjoy the rental increases, they're coming. And you still won't be able to afford to buy.
@RobynAMilne@chrisbrycki I did that, employed dozens of people and made a lot money along the way. Rule 1. Never pay grifters who want to tell you how you should run your business.
@Thejimpenman What is normal. Pre 1945 its was about 50%. Peaked at 73% in the mid 1960s because of post war housing incentives. Sits now about 63%. Stop making shit up.
@judoisoww @Lochness4000 @ausstockchick Its not extremely inefficient it converts at about 60% verse normal oil at about 85-90%. But this is about energy security and we have endless amounts of coal. Renewable energy can only provide domestic power, it can't provide industrial.
