@_carlyhalliday_ @DrCoreyLeeWrenn Hah! Sadly you’ve been misinformed and mislead with our-of-context Twitter-baiting. We served delicious vegan food. And our vegan afternoon tea will return in summer, as always. We’re small and rural, and unlike the ritz, aren’t able to provide it year-round currently.
@VeganMags@VeganOlive1 Mags - you’ve been totally Twitter bamboozled. We served vegan dishes and menus, but as we are quiet for afternoon tea in winter, it won’t be returning until the better weather returns in spring.
@LeonGartland@VeganOlive1 We’re not trying to convert anyone. We cater for vegans all the time. But as a small rural hotel don’t get a great demand for vegan afternoon tea in winter—- it’ll be back in summer again! Context is everything.
@AnnaBoylan@VeganOlive1 Unfortunately you’ve been lead away without context. We have vegan menus and dishes, but in our quiet winter months aren’t currently able to offer a vegan afternoon tea. It’ll be back soon, with the sunshine.
@OurJen@VeganOlive1 Hi Jen - of course we have vegan options. We have options for all dietary preferences and requirements- We are merely not currently able to offer a cost-effective vegan afternoon tea with such low demand in our rural hotel in winter. I’m sure it’ll be back in summer!
@MistyMum2@VeganOlive1 Give over lass! We’re not all backwards up north. We are not currently able to offer a cost-effective vegan afternoon tea with such low demand in our rural hotel in winter, but it will be returning with the better weather. Missing context on a social media vendetta is a nightmare
@Herofthewords@VeganOlive1 That does look delicious and great inspiration for when our vegan afternoon tea *returns* in summer. We are not currently able to offer a cost-effective vegan afternoon tea with such low demand in our rural hotel in winter, but it will be back. Perhaps with some context too??
@JosieAllan4@VeganOlive1 Did you check out the context?? We’re a small, rural independent with very rare vegan demand. We usually do, but are not currently able to offer a cost-effective vegan afternoon tea with such low demand in winter.
@Samanth75206736 @VeganOlive1@herbieharry @Judyhew70906138 This is a completely bonkers, out of context, Twitter vendetta. We are not currently able to offer a cost-effective vegan afternoon tea with such low demand in our rural hotel in winter. It may return in spring, with demand.
@fairlyorganic@VeganOlive1 We are not currently able to offer a cost-effective vegan afternoon tea with such low demand in our rural hotel in winter. We have created stunning dietary-conscious teas previously, but the vegan twitter army seem to love a target!
@JaneRee46920760@VeganOlive1 We hate the idea of animal suffering. We’re blessed to live in an area with the highest farming welfare standards and care a great deal about provenance. We are not currently able to offer a cost-effective vegan afternoon tea with such low demand in our rural hotel in winter.
@BjarneOldrup @VeganOlive1 That does sounds awful! We love our hens, they’re really special birds and very well looked after. We despise any animal cruelty in the egg industry.
But is a vegan cake really as good as cake-cake? We feel a blind taste experiment looming!
@sqigg@VeganOlive1@ChristineHoxwo1 If being 2022 means being mislead on social media, without context or understanding, then we’ll avoid thank you very much. As it is, we have wonderful vegan menus and offerings for all dietary preferences and requirements - but not currently demand for vegan afternoon tea!
@jones2_me@VeganOlive1 Of course! We have vegan menus however, we aren’t currently able to continue offering a vegan afternoon tea due to lack of demand and the time and specialty produce involved for small-batches. You have been mislead, madam.
@LeonGartland@VeganOlive1 Chicken ‘ovulation’. Eggs are one of the most natural things on the go, luckily for you and the rest of mankind. Ours come from the happiest hens in our gardens.
@AnnaBoylan@VeganOlive1 Of course we do. We cater for allergies, preferences and requirements. Including vegans, however, we aren’t currently able to continue offering an afternoon tea due to lack of demand and the time and specialty produce involved for small-batch demand.
