I have received “a serious threat from National Action London” notifying me of their “intention to kill” me & my family. They name my husband & home address. They don’t consider killing me ‘murder’ they call it an ‘execution’. This letter was through my front door
This is Britain
@WhistleblowingT From experience, and speaking to others in different special schools, the workload is MUCH less and you can concentrate more on the things that matter i.e the children. Most teachers at my school are out of the door by 4.15pm and take very little work home. 2/2
@WhistleblowingT I can recommend switching to special education. I was ready to jack it all in 5 years ago for the same reasons, but moved to a special school to see if life was any better out of mainstream...1/2
@PieCorbett I've often wondered why, and have no idea how to fix it. There are some sensible explanations in the comments e.g. too much to think about when writing - but ultimately I don't believe they really care. I often receive lengthy communications from parents with NO punctuation.
If I understand this correctly, 2022 KS2 SATs results will not be published in league tables because parents might draw the wrong conclusions about schools 'performing poorly' against a backdrop of Covid disruption. Yet, the results will be used for accountability? Seems unfair.
@DanH_9@moldman83 Any ideas really welcome. #SEMH#SEN schools - what packages do you use to track academic attainment when pupils are consistently years behind ARE? Currently using Classroom Monitor but it doesn't really do it for us. TIA
Not sure if this will reach anyone who knows. #SEMH#SEN schools - what packages do you use to track academic attainment when pupils are consistently years behind ARE? Currently using Classroom Monitor but it doesn't really do it for us. TIA
@CastleCombeUK Hi, our son wants us to take him to the JDM event in October. Not sure which ticket type we need to buy. Can you advise? (We aren't planning on doing any driving on the day!)
@antiacademies This shit going on all over the place. One locally whose CEO publicly promotes use of Microsoft edu products. Brother apparently works for Microsoft. Academisation is a real money spinner for those in the game.
@theresa_may Why believe you? This whole sordid mess is of your own selfish, deluded & anachronistic Tory Party's making.
Why on Earth would the #eu bend to the UK's will and critically endanger the European project?
The #tory party are humiliating this country.

She keeps going doesn't she? In 20 years, when we're all living in hedgerows and fighting off wild boar to survive, the news will tell us there could be a challenge to Theresa May any day soon.
NEW BLOG: Please RT! The latest installment of my 'Small is Beautiful' series where I re-write the primary curriculum. This time on how the bloated curriculum is harming reading outcomes for children. Less fluff, more fluency. https://t.co/SzWIIQoDh1
A few weeks ago, someone on here posted a poll about which was the best site to use for maths planning. Two of the options were White Rose and PlanBee, and the third was really good but I didn't bookmark it and have forgotten the name. Any ideas? @MrBoothY6@_MissieBee
@RachHops8@_LisaCherry And the impact that targets and league tables have on schools' abilities / willingness to support children with these issues, whilst also managing reduced funding and dwindling staff numbers. In current climate, many of these children are better supported in alternative provision
