@madaomoshiroi The mirror itself doesn't "know" something is there. Sight is just your eyes picking up light that bounces off things. If there is a pathway light can take from the object to the mirror to your eyes, then you'll see it.

Mathematics "overthink" because they consider impossible cases. Physicists "underthink" because they reject impossible cases.
@mathemetica Just take the natural log of both sides. xln(e) = eln(x), ln(e) = 1 so
x = eln(x). x = e is the only valid solution because y = x is linear and ln(x) grows slower over time.
