If a man only wants a situationship with you, there are two clear things you can see very early on where you can go, “Yep, he probably just wants the short-term fun.”
And if you’re wanting long-term, then this thread is for you:1/4
I don’t see why people don’t consider co-parenting ancestral. You don’t think there were villages where women and men lived separately for the best interest of the land? Ya’ll can’t possibly think “broken” homes are a new concept.
Mercury Retrograde reminder: Detach a little more. Care a little less.
I’ve realized that everyone is living through their own perspective of reality. Not everyone is going to understand you, and not everyone is meant to. The more you try to force people to see your perspective, the more energy you waste trying to convince someone who may never understand your heart.
Instead of chasing understanding, choose alignment. Let the people who naturally understand you find you. Stop forcing yourself into spaces where you’re constantly explaining who you are.
Protect your peace. Release the need to be understood by everyone. The right people won’t require you to shrink, over-explain, or prove yourself, they’ll simply get you.
Women love resting. It’s one of their favorite things to do. Reading, laying under the sun, painting their nails, writing, journaling, taking baths, drinking a cup of tea in silence, sleeping, doing nothing. And there’s nothing wrong with that, they need it for a reason, it’s medicine! ♥️
Sis to sis, always remember this: Just because you don't require a lot doesn't mean you deserve the bare minimum. Don’t undervalue your self worth for any man.
First borns are really experimental kids hey.
First day of Grade 1, my parents put me on scholar transport. I was the only child going to a different school in that taxi, even my uniform was different 😭
When all the kids got off at their school… I also got off. Loya malume driver wasn’t even paying attention.
I confidently walked into a classroom, sat down and minded my business.
Then one kid came to me and said, “Ask your mom to buy you the same uniform as ours.”
That’s when it hit me.
I looked around.
Wrong uniform.
Wrong school.
I was LOST 😭😭😭
A teacher eventually noticed me, recognized my uniform and asked questions. Luckily I knew my dad’s number. My mom had to come fetch me.
Fast forward to my little sister’s first day of school — they made sure to personally take her. My mom even took a day off from work and walked her all the way to her classroom.
First borns suffered so the others could be raised properly.
We were the experiment. 💀
