@OccamsSpoon @MacZajak@MarkHertling@Vojo26046518@secretsqrl123 That's, just like, your opinion man. I'd be perfectly fine with it, as would I think a majority of Americans. We already have more tanks built than we could possibly use in a century of warfare. Sure, they'd need to be upgraded with modern electronics, but the frames exist today.
@ChrisFiWA @KyivIndependent Germany could always invert things and publicly announce a blanket export permission, but they're too inflexible, and lack the initiative and cleverness to do that. It's almost like they don't really care about the tanks and Ukraine as much as how their process is perceived.
@lordtupperware I am just noticing that Salvaged Manaworker's art is basically this dumb robot holding up the enormous weight of all the crazy 5 color mana-bases it helps to enable.
@Dafore3 Sounds a lot like the Ryan Saxe theory of 'drafting with preferences' - you set out with a goal to draft a specific archetype or set of archetypes, perhaps against the traditional meta pick order, but with a plan to shift if you see an obvious signal. It *is* pretty next level.
@CBotelhoMagic But seriously, this is hard to parse - does it mean that getting to a 'significant' sample size of how games play requires skill to be ignored, at least to some degree? I suspect 17lands data would be different if filtered only by Top100 mythic players, for example, vs. in gold.
@rcsaxe@maxwindiff Microsoft first-party ssh tools are simply delightful. To any reader: give the Remote-ssh extension a try, could significantly improve one's workflow.
@ale_ballini@lordtupperware There is a time and place for thinking your opponent might be an idiot. If it was Bo1 G1 or if I was down 0-2 or playing in silver late in a season, I'd snap block. There is equity to be had in promptly punishing and not giving your opponent time to draw bombs and kill you.
@mistermetronome I'd go: -1 Timely, -1 Ghitu, -1 Defiler, +1 Espionage, +1 Talas Lookout, +1 Ertai's Scorn. Defiler is frankly not that great in this deck.
