Chinese New Year, Ramadan, the first solar eclipse and Lent happening this week is crazy. Oh the world about to rock for real. God said a shift is in play.
You will never have an extraordinary life, being an ordinary person.
You won't have an extraordinary career, business or even relationship if you do the things that the average person does.
Decide that you're fine being "different," disregard social pressure, and go be Great.
The riskiest thing you can do is have a job.
You give your 9-to-5, your weekends, your soul to a company that replaces you with a line of code or a budget cut. These companies preach “we’re a family” until the bottom line gets tight or when they find a optimization that can cut an entire department.
You’re just a line item to them.
Stop believing that the company you work for cares about your interests. They only care because YOU are making THEM money. They bet on your skills, your brain, and your time because you are valuable…but only until they find a cheaper replacement.
Instead...bet on YOU. Bet on YOUR skills. Bet on YOUR brain.
You should realize by now that “job security” is bullshit. You want real security? Own something. A business, a cash-flowing asset, a $$ stream nobody can take away from you.
That is real security and real freedom.

firmly believe that when too much wild and crazy shit is happening to you (in biz or life) that you are probably the problem and it’s time to get your shit together
I’ve practiced land for 11 yrs (dev + ag) and industrial, gov infrastructure, renewables for about 6-7 yrs… the last yr opening up global services was one of my fav turns in the cre biz. 4 countries in 18 months. Never dawned on me how much I enjoy macro economics 😳
@ElonGerberg I love Apple, it’s worked fine for a decade.. I hv parallels to run windows if needed. But all desks for my agents are set up so their laptops or tablets into plug in to dual screen doesn’t matter which operating system they have. Times are adapting, we have to too 🤗
Before me, my mentor/boss lead our firm for 40+ years. As a broker associate, when I was offered the firm.. I had to learn the brokerage side.
2 yrs of training + 1 year into leadership in CRE brokerage + development firm, 7 additions, and tbh I am an entirely new person 😅

Average people learn from their experiences
Stupid people already have all the answers.
Major cheat code for life: Tolerance for boredom. Success isn't flashy. It's built through long periods of extremely disciplined, boring routines. If you need constant novelty, you won't make it very far. To shine in the light, you have to embrace the boring work in the dark.
