Imagine an airport security checkpoint. There’s a long line of passengers who have been waiting patiently for years to get through, but instead of processing them first, TSA keeps opening new lanes and letting in fresh arrivals, forcing those who’ve been waiting the longest to remain stuck indefinitely.
Removing country caps is like prioritizing the backlog—clearing those already in line before allowing more people in. This doesn’t increase immigration; it actually slows it down. It literally means we are closed until we process those already in line. It will DECREASE immigration.
The ones fighting against this aren’t doing it for America’s interests. They’re foreign-funded special interest groups lobbying to keep TSA opening new lanes for their kind while those who’ve waited the longest keep getting pushed to the back.
Introducing the ‘Brown’ card. As long as you have a job, you continue paying all the taxes a citizen pays including SS & Medicare but will never have a realistic chance of ever becoming a citizen yourself.
How can I apply for one? Oh wait, I was born with one. Never mind!
While:
500,000 greencards per year are given to spouses and parents of US citizens (that's the typical number, actually there is no numerical limit). There's also no country caps.
226,000 greencards per year are given to family based immigrants
55,000 greencards per year are given for *diversity*
Its funny how everyone is up in arms against the only category (employment based) where there is *atleast* some form of labor market test, wage requirements, skill requirements etc. And on top of that, people want to force "diversity" in this skills based category.
@therabbithole Black caucus chair opposed removal of per-country caps in employment immigration.
You know who supported per-country cap removal bill?
Civil Rights icon Rep John Lewis!

@iaproject Wonder why you never talk about TPS , Parole programs and other programs like DV visas that actively displace Americans and have no wage floor.
I will concede that @JDVance is a great politician.
He didn't jump in when his *friend* @VivekGRamaswamy was being dragged through the mud by the woke MAGA right --> Doing so would have alienated the base.
He didn't jump in when there was a deluge of hate against *Indians* on X over the holidays --> Doing so would have alienated the base.
He *did* jump in when people were against some vile remarks made by the 25 year old @DOGE kid --> Because *not* doing so would have alienated his base.
I’m strongly opposed to trying to cancel people for stupid shit they posted online years ago as teens etc.
But this is a 25yo adult posting stuff a few months ago. Don’t make silly excuses for it, just say you don’t believe views like this should be disqualifying for the role.
I really, really do not like when people lose their jobs because of idiotic things they tweeted. If Elez Marko had said these things when he was like, 16, I'd be all for ignoring it—I'd even join the mob forming against the WSJ reporter who uncovered it.
But he said that stuff a few weeks and months ago. He's 25.
If we discovered that a USAID employee had recently tweeted, say, "normalize anti-white hate," I think most MAGA folks would be justifiably calling for that person to be fired.
So let's have some consistency here. One way or the other.
Strong men stand up for truth.
Weak men like @JDVance fight for their race.
Strong men help young men (25 yr yo) get better by teaching them the right skills.
Weak men like @JDVance defend young men (25 yr yo) when they are wrong.
Weak men in leadership lead to pathetic future for humanity.
Yes, it is!
STOP NORMALIZING INDIAN HATE.
India is not a tiny country—it is home to over a billion people. Don’t attempt to sow division and create conflict with those who are your ALLIES.
STOP. THE. HATE.
I say this as someone who has personally received countless death threats, been doxxed, and targeted in numerous ways. Enough.
Mr. Vice President, this may not affect you, but it does affect everyday brown folks who are forced to face the consequences of this rhetoric.
The same MAGA woke right that tried to doxx @Cloudwatch199 and dm'd him abuses and death threats for some stupid things he said about whites in the past, are the ones praising @JDVance for ignoring the "normalize indian hate" online banter by the 25 year old kid.
Did I get that right?
Timeline:
1. Post 'normalize Indian hate'
2. Get removed
3. VP demands rehire
4. No apology needed
5. Critics told 'stop overreacting'
Welcome to 2025.
