6 month old Palestinian baby Zainab Abu Halib died at Gaza’s Nasser Medical Complex due to starvation and severe malnutrition caused by Israeli blockade.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least 125 Palestinians - including 85 children - have died from malnutrition and hunger-related complications since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023. The ministry also notes that more than 260,000 Palestinian children under the age of 5 are in urgent need of food.

During the Second World War, under Hitler’s “New Order,” starvation was used deliberately to kill infants and young children who were among the most vulnerable in N -azi-ruled te-rritori-es.
