@BuddNicholas Not a tank bod but camera-wise the camera can distort our perceived depth of field due to focussing. See the equipment just to the right and how blurred it is and you may be able to determine an approximate distance to the back wall. HTH
So a quick game on War of Rights and I believe one of the first ceasefires i've organised between two factions. Easier said than done!
FancySweetroll of course brought things in line again 😋

Normal service resumes tomorrow in the sense of history tweets. I think we've got some gaming to catch up with you too. Photo is at the bottom of a WW2 pillbox, one of several overlooking this cove.
@blakethedolphin@MilHiVisualized sorry that came across arrogant AF! A now subdued me after being left stranded as the bus broke down - Yep it's my land - family owned. This makes it a fantastic project over the next few years to try and find some mock trenches and so on!
More finds from our British WW1 training camp! A Royal Veterinary Corp cap badge, part of a Royal Artillery button (for tunic) and examples of webbing pieces for WW1 uniform. A large brass horse bit of the same era has also been found!
#ww1#militaryhistory@MilHiVisualized 🧐
@blakethedolphin@MilHiVisualized My field so yeah.
However if its something historically important then its my duty to report it. There is a GPS track for every item found.
I've got 250 acres to search which forms part of my next couple of tweets funny enough
@FMortheim Ah yes they were fun weren't they. And lets not forget the American Civil War - a favourite of mine - 50 thousand people died in prison due to disease and malnutrition
*slaps thigh*
An interesting summary of how Russian hierachy saw itself before WW1. This is following the defeat against Japan. I think for all the changes that happened in the years after, that high ranking generals in WW2 still regarded this time as the 'good old days'. #WW1#AmazingHistory
@FMortheim I've read a little on Port Arthur, but it was in understanding the rise of the Japanese Navy leading up to WW2. I'll make sure to check out Stessel and Fok - they sound like a band lmao
The early 19th Century, those two decades are just incredible!
@James1940 @thehistoryguy @holland_tom @CVHISTORYFEST @claremulley It's a no from me too, irresponsible in fact. Most kids have no interest in old things. No interest in Genkis Khan or 'true' Agincourt. A passion of history is something that you need to discover yourself, get hooked on a niche. Sorry but age 15 few of us wanted to know...
