I really appreciate how it's written that Sanji didn't even SEE his actions as self loathing. He's not written to be a head down "ohh I'm soooo saaad" guy, he just devalues himself to such an extent and has done it for so long he doesn't understand it isn't healthy in any way
"Sanji doesn't accept himself" - no, stfu. That's not the issue.
Sanji accepts himself. The issue is that he doesn't attach a healthy value to what that means.
He became strong FOR Zeff. Then FOR Luffy and his crew. He cannot become a King for anyone but himself

Sanji has spent so much of his life putting everyone else before himself that he struggles to see his own worth.
Overcoming that mindset will be the key to unlocking his Conqueror’s Haki in the next few chapters.
no but fr having to constantly constantly say Sanji still hates himself and doesn't value himself and even getting THIS panel specifically shown again is making me feel waaaaaaaaaaay too vindicated, I would ALWAYS fall back on this panel to explain why Sanji hates himself LOL
every single one of these panels I have brought up every single time while talking about Sanji's self worth for years btw. We call this a PRO GAMER MOVE 🗣️🗣️
I am actually ecstatic Oda showed those brief Sanji flashbacks cause he said "and I don't wanna hear no bullshit about this coming out of nowhere for Sanji's character" LMAOOOOOO
does all the chores, good with kids, hardworking, emotionally intelligent, hopeless romantic, affectionate, will support all my rights and wrongs… he needs to quit his life of piracy and be my husband already
I’ve seen a lot of discussions about whether “using pose references constitutes plagiarism.”
My art teacher once said, “The human skeleton has its limits; every pose you can think of has already been used by someone else, so there’s absolutely no point in worrying about this.”
When it comes to Pixar teaser trailers, Wall-E teaser trailer felt really unique. It started off as a trailer for a documentary of Pixar but then it transition to a new movie named Wall-E.
It's embarrassing to admit that I grew up with Adam West Batman reruns in the 1980s and as a kid thought the show was funny but embarrassing & corny. Now I find it completely delightful & realize the writers knew exactly what they were doing.
