Proof of Concept done!!! A Kingston A400 240GB SSD working on an unmodded Xbox 360 through modifying the ID with the PC-3000 and using a 120GB security sector!
Big thanks to @XeEaton for the help with security sector issues!
I'm still waiting for a 2.5" 7200 RPM hdd to come in to test with before I can confirm if they'll work as well. Right now SSDs are 100% a no go. The exploit targets a race condition between when the HDD is issued a read command and when it replies...
@burgerbecky was an Interplay co-founder, a true pioneer, and one of the finest low-level coders in our industry. She loved computers and programming her whole life, and that passion stayed with her through decades of game development. RIP.
@fknrdcls@ID_AA_Carmack And no one's impressed by you white knighting a full grown adult capable of making his own decisions who was also the CTO of Oculus. Stop infantilizing neurodivergent people

"Instead of casting false accusations using vague decomp'd code snippets rather than the actual source code and issuing illegal/fraudulent DMCA claims, I'm going to continue to claim to add support for things but not actually implement them"
I will not be broken, and I will continue to do what I love.
The theft from Project Stellar and XboxHD+ is no longer being hidden. At this point, I no longer believe anything is off-limits from being taken.
But rather than writing up a part three about recent events or wasting months building complex DRM, I’m choosing to put my energy where it matters most: developing Project Stellar. It has taken others years to copy what Stellar has already achieved, and I won’t slow down just to give them the chance to catch up.
Innovation in software and hardware is what I do best and that’s what I’ll keep doing.
To keep moving forward, I’ll be skipping the 1.9.x entirely and focusing on Project Stellar firmware 2.0.0, which should be released later this year.
