Israel is not a country, but a war machine that seems to have no other purpose.
This painting is by the great Lebanese artist Abdel Hamid Baalbaki and it is called 'War'. It is from 1979, and depicts - for me - the heart of the Lebanese situation against (at that time) Operation Litani, when Israeli invaded the south of the country.
Lebanon is strong and will prevail.
