Guysβ¦.. there have been signs for some years now showing you that the hobby is long gone. If you have $$$ to spend, this is the hobby for you. If you want enjoyment, look elsewhere, unless, you enjoy watching others getting a rear ended at every turn of sports card collection.
π¨ BREAKING NEWS π¨
Collectors Holdings, PSA's parent company, has agreed to acquire Beckett.
They will keep it as an "independent brand."
βοΈ: @LarryHolder
Absolutely classless when done by a random person. No words when it comes from the supposed leader of this great country. Sympathy, compassion, empathy and respect fell into the void with this dude.
@SportsCardNews They are taking advantage of the stupidity that entered the hobby in recent years. True hobby folks saw it a mile away and have been keeping their distance or treading lightly in this new shit show we call a hobby.
Burn it all down and let it rise anew.
Just imagine the things we all suspect are shady by grading companies, card manufacturers, distributors, and others but are yet to be brought to light.
We have been in the clutches of greed for a very long time. Unless it all crumbles, it will remain as is or worse.

Still no word from Rick Probstein. But the data keeps talking.
It appears thatΒ Probstein created several accounts and had associates like Kevin Burge bid on hundreds of items during Snype's debut auction.
Often bidding together on the same listings. Making items appear to have multiple legitimate bidders when it was just the same group running up the price.
But it gets worse: Probstein wasn't just running suspicious accountsβhe was bidding on items he consigned.
The kicker? Some of these items were under $100.
One example: a $20 Michael Jordan card.
Three different accounts tied to Probstein each placed a bid on it.
Three fake bidders. On a $20 card.
That he submitted himself.
Yikes.
Then there's the 2017-18 Panini Select Kaboom Lionel Messi card.
Probstein used two accounts to bid on the card.
Associate Kevin Burge used his account to bid as well.
But here's where it gets funny: the original consigner then placed a bid and "won" his own item for $12,600.
The consigner bid against Probstein's fake accounts, that drove the price up to $12,600, only to βwinβ back his own card.
LOL.
Your comps are fake guys.
