I’ve been reworking my portfolio because my site is way overdue for an update. I’m excited about it, but man, trying to figure out what to show, how to approach the case studies, and what kind of work I want to highlight is overwhelming lol.
@PaulJun_ So many place to try! If you can, I would recommend:
Hikiniku To Come, in Shibuya.
Sabasu in Akasuka, some of the best pizza ever.
Flippers, they have a few locations, my go to place for Japanese Pancakes.
One by One, one of my favorite coffee shops, in Giniza
@mcmnmn 100%! No matter how great you are at your craft, people will remember how you treated them.
Talent is important, but so is being kind,
generous, and willing to make time for others.
Your work may be what people notice first, but how you treat people is what they’ll remember.
@jkane@jayrizpop That genuinely means a lot to hear, Jordan. I really appreciate the kind words! I feel lucky to have met you too, and I’ll forever be a huge fan of your work. Keep crushing it! 🙌
Trying to make more art just for myself lately. I grew up spending hours drawing Pokémon from memory, so with Pokémon turning 30, it felt like the perfect excuse to reconnect with that part of myself.
Venusaur felt like a good place to start. Lugia or Gengar next?

@jayrizpop I totally get that people are busy and your time is valuable. But if someone reaches out because they respect your work and want advice, you can say no without making them feel like they’ve wasted your time. You don’t owe anyone your time, but you can still be fucking kind.
