@BehatiVol@fuzzy_p3nguin If they're about the same skill level (very rare) it's really down to perk/item/power value. Of which, if the killer isn't playing a very high-tier killer then they will likely have a significanty lower chance of victory
@BehatiVol@fuzzy_p3nguin Then if they don't, said killer has to deal with 3-4 gens done by the time they have one kill, given the team is atleast somewhat competent
@BehatiVol@fuzzy_p3nguin Sure, it's not INTENDED, but it's the only realistic way to get a reasonable performance as killer. If you know literally anything about high level DBD, killers will ALWAYS tunnel the first guy out because it's extremely difficult with 4 survs putting pressure.
@Twitt3rSucks16@nikgeneburn Zeroing works fine, you just assume it automatically adjusts to your ammo's velocity. It's not broken, you're just not using it right
@Underw_ter @FarhanDioxide_ Again, strawmanning my argument by saying every usage of these perks is a crutch usage. Besides crutching, NTH is popular because it's good. Windows is popular for solo queue cause you have no idea what your teammates have used.
@ttbmiah@Underw_ter @FarhanDioxide_ because old dh was broken on a fundamental level. An aura reading perk like NTH is not broken on a fundamental level.
@ttbmiah@Underw_ter @FarhanDioxide_ what??? where did you get me supporting old dead hard from me saying reading the opposite side's perks is a part of gamesense?
@Underw_ter @FarhanDioxide_ It's an integral part of the game in that it is always available whenever or wherever, but it is not integral in that it is required for success. It's not like NTH wins games singlehandedly. Windows doesn't either.
@Underw_ter @FarhanDioxide_ It doesn't though, stealth is effective but by no means a necessary tactic and if players are constantly relying on it they are neglecting improving at actual chases. Not to mention, if the killer obviously has NTH you have an easy counter in pre-running.
@Underw_ter @FarhanDioxide_ Why do you guys that call stuff crutch perks assume everyone uses the perk as a crutch? It CAN be used as a crutch but you're acting like it has to be. If you don't need it to play well but it just compliments your gameplay, it's not a crutch
@Underw_ter @FarhanDioxide_ Exactly, there's way to maximize it with gamesense but no way to guarantee it. In that regard NWTH doubles as a time saver and info perk. Yes it can be used as a crutch for lack of gamesense but simply using it doesn't mean you're crutching on it.
@Underw_ter @FarhanDioxide_ Windows and pallets are finite, and you can take note of which ones have been used. You can't cancel out a surv hiding spot. Every map is different and spending too much time looking in every spot can be detrimental. Game sense plays a part but it's not consistently usable here.
@Moseslg16@ramirozooo @FarhanDioxide_ It's necessary though. It's an asymmetrical game, you can't just ignore what one side has and make balance disregarding it
@EatShitToad @FarhanDioxide_ It's only poorly designed in one aspect: the aura reading follows the killer. If it stayed at the gen's position it would be okay. Otherwise; stealth is a powerful option if used well, but you shouldn't be relying on it all the time. It's obvious when the killer has NTH.
@Underw_ter @FarhanDioxide_ General map knowledge and knowledge of tiles is something both sides can learn. If you're familiar with atleast a few of the tiles you'll know where pallets and windows should be. The constantly variable hiding places of survs is NOT comparable to spawn locations of pallets.
