The brush fire in the park's woodland Ravine is now extinguished. According to @FDNY, the fire engulfed a roughly two-acre area. We thank FDNY and its sister agencies who responded quickly to get the fire under control.
Because we suck at getting good information out to folks who are drowning in misinformation. We've got to figure out how to change that. I met decent people who told me Trump is better for the economy. They don't know about the economists - or they don't believe the "elites."
If Trump wins, there will be efforts to blame Russian interference or the Harris campaign or Biden, etc. That's all fair. But we need to be clear eyed that a huge swath of America likes what Trump is selling. Transphobia. Mass deportation. That's what he ran on. And here we are.
