😂 Hired a German manager because there’s no good English ones, and considerably more English Premier League titles have been won by Scottish managers
😂 Crowned themselves as pre-tournament favourites (as always)
😂 Spent most of their time singing about Scotland and the Tartan Army
😂 Sang World War 2 songs about “German bombers” despite their manager being German
😂 Got into a fight in Dallas
😂 Scraped past a geriatric Croatia
😂 Got insanely jealous that the Tartan Army were getting so much love
😂 As most other countries were showing off their rich culture with songs, bagpipes, kilts etc - the best they could do was get the DJ to put Oasis on the loudspeaker for the most forced celebration ever in an attempt to superficially create a personality outside hooliganism and confrontation
😂 When they arrived in Boston public drinking laws were tightened, despite the city relaxing them for Scotland
😂 Bostonians turned on England fans for singing about the beloved Tartan Army
😂 Pubs started closing early - with two of the main ones “taking the day off” and leaving their doors locked on England match days
😂 Copied the Tartan Army by going to baseball games to try and gain some friends - but were largely ignored
😂 Drew with Ghana and blamed a witch doctor
😂 Beat the mighty Panama and celebrated by throwing pints at each other
😂 Two late goals to scrape past Dr Congo
😂 Made out like beating a bang average Mexico side 3-2 was as good as winning the World Cup
😂 Cheated to scrape past Norway in extra-time
😂 Got absolutely triggered by Scotland fans supporting other teams
😂 Started to act like a clingy and deranged ex: “who are you supporting now?”- “why do you like them more than us” - “here are some reasons why you should like us instead”
😂 Used dead soldiers in an embarrassing and mortifying attempt to guilt trip us into liking them
😂 Conflated a football match with war, and opposing team as enemies - then wondered why nobody wanted them to win
😂 Slapped about on an off the pitch by their fierce rivals Argentina
😂 Mocked relentlessly by Scotland fans
😂 Spat the dummy out about a flag held up by Argentina - and tried to play the “you can’t bring politics into football” card - despite spending the last week talking about the Falklands and before that singing about German bombers
😂 Fighting with each other at home and across the Atlantic
😂 Basically got a bye to the semi-final and still couldn’t get near the trophy
😂 Killed the vibes everywhere they went
😂 Stunk the place out on the pitch and off it
😂 Not a single player from their “best league in the world 🤪” scored for them
😂 It’s coming home?
😂 60 (SIXTY) years of hurt…
😂 Same amount of trophies won as Scotland
😂 Same amount of top ten ranked teams defeated as Scotland
😂 Tails between their legs again
😂 Will all be supporting Spain in the final despite their attempts to mock Scotland for supporting other teams
😂 And they still have to hang around for the humiliation ritual that is the 3rd place playoff
Priceless…
Note to the BBC: the power of Scotland and why they deserved more respect than a cringey wave-a-thon on Spoty. Where to start? Second oldest footballing nation in the world. Developed styles of football 150 years ago still pursued today. No Scotland, no passing. Helped spread the joy of football around the world, igniting the passion in Brazil and Argentina. Helped nurture famous English clubs like Aston Villa.
Introduced keepie-uppie to Wembley. Gave the game the wonderful Baxter, Law, Johnstone, McGrain, Bremner, Dalglish, Hansen, Souness and more recently Robertson and McTominay. Gave the game managers of the calibre and vision of Shankly, Busby, Stein and Ferguson.
Brought the refreshing and well-refreshed mobile party of the Tartan Army to tournaments, fans who raise spirits and raise funds for charities wherever they go. Have an anthem that stirs the blood and the soul. Qualified for the World Cup with a performance of guts and goalscoring glory. Staged their own Puskas award competition against Denmark.
Guided by a modest, proud and quietly inspirational manager in Steve Clarke.
Who should have had the successful, charismatic McTominay on the Spoty shortlist. McTominay deserved more respect from Spoty. So did Scotland.
@AberdeenFC Can anyone advise why it’s impossible to buy the 3 match euro package. Keep getting server errors, then when I get in, under my saved tickets can only buy for my son and not mine or my partners tickets. Total nightmare.
Just amazing content from Aberdeen on the SPFL’s fixture release day 😂🤣
Will we get anymore of this today from anyone else I wonder? 🤞

@AberdeenFC Kept getting server issue on my iPhone, logged in on my desktop and managed to buy tickets. Couldn’t assign tickets to user as they were under the 300 points but got them under my and my sons account.
@StuSimmy@AberdeenFC Yes, just bought 4 but very strange this hasn’t advertised on the AFC website wonder how they will add the loyalty points. All seems very strange.
@Katyag15@AberdeenFC You need to purchase direct from St Johnston website. Don’t remember seeing anything online from the club advising this? I just bought 4.
