Everyone working with children, especially those with Safeguarding responsibilities should read this book. I always recommend the Whole Brain child by @BDPerry to families & colleagues I work with, his work is incredible, making very complicated concepts accessible 🧠 💙

There are so many great things about this picture in our eyes. The family together, supporting each other, the vibrant colours, the close connection maintained through carrying. The quiet alert state of the little baby, their little hand holding onto the red t-shirt
@janeparenting2 So many amazing options! I have lots of videos on youtube or IGTV showing the types, pros & cons, the perfect sling doesn't exist!often buckles seen as safer but not the case. I love stretchy wraps for newborns so snuggly and super safe, with anything it is how it is used.

Reading this literally brings tears to my eyes. Will those with the power to change society start to value and nurture the raw potential for wellbeing, joy and economic stability of new life?
Yes yes yes. Babies have mental health too. We have to work on supporting their parents who have such an influence on them, as well as addressing social inequality and deprivation
