@just_mindy They absolutely expected the beach buzz. The Blues have done that for decades, and do it every single time they return to Pensacola from whatever show they were at last. It's just never low enough for the jet wash to blow things over. That was the unusual part.

@just_mindy It was more of a glorified practice ("Breakfast with the Blues") in prep for their air show on Pensacola Beach this weekend. The pass *was* extra low. I've lived in the Pensacola area for 40 years and *never* heard of that happening. So it is at least unusual.

@neontaster I'm local to Pensacola Beach, and the Blues regularly practice out there (and have for decades). However, that pass was *not* normal. They've released a statement that they're looking into why that pass went "below envelope," because that's not how they do things.
