I’ve been telling you guys this for months. And now, it’s all unfolding exactly as I warned you.
Let me remind you who I am. I’m one of the people who called for Carrick to be appointed interim after Amorim was sacked.
I rejected Ole’s return. I said we didn’t need another manager looking for a soft landing.
Carrick came in. Had a good run. And I said THANK YOU. Give him his flowers. Give him a standing ovation. Then let him go.
Because Manchester United needed an experienced manager. A man with a philosophy. Principles. Authority. A clear process.
Not another experiment.
You insulted me. Questioned my intelligence. Even brought up my nationality and the fact that I’d never been to Old Trafford.
I told you time would tell.
NOW LOOK AT US.
And remember this. AMORIM WAS NOT SACKED BECAUSE OF RESULTS.
He fell out with Jason Wilcox. The same Wilcox who wants to stick his nose into managerial decisions. The same man who says he’s a coach at heart.
Then go and coach! Why interfere with the manager’s job? Why dictate squad decisions? Why hire a manager if you don’t intend to let him manage?
You got rid of Amorim and handed the job to Carrick. Now we’re watching the consequences.
The same man who told us this squad was good enough. The same man who suggested Rashford would feel like a new signing.
Now we’re losing games against 10 men. Newly promoted sides. Teams at the bottom of the table. We’re dropping points everywhere.
And you’re STILL waiting for a miracle?
WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
Carrick has to go. Wilcox has to go with him.
Because replacing the manager while keeping the same people interfering with football decisions solves nothing.
If Berrada is part of the problem, he must go too. Nobody should be bigger than Manchester United.
We cannot keep sacrificing managers to protect executives who have no business running the football side the way they are.
And don’t tell me Carrick needs more time.
WE TOLD YOU BEFORE HE GOT THE JOB.
A good interim spell does not make you a good permanent manager. Short-term momentum is not a footballing philosophy.
Carrick has no clear identity. No convincing tactical answers. No visible authority to change games. No ambition that matches the size of this club.
People mistake his calm demeanour for composure. I see a manager who looks incapable of changing the course of a game when things go wrong.
You cannot manage Manchester United on vibes, smiles and sentimental appointments.
We need a serious manager. A proper footballing structure. People who know their jobs and stay in their lanes.
It’s October. There’s still time to salvage this season.
But only if we act NOW.
CARRICK OUT. WILCOX OUT.
Stop protecting the people destroying this club.
And to everyone who insulted me for saying this months ago, I hope you’re finally beginning to understand what I was trying to tell you.
I WASN’T HATING ON CARRICK.
I WAS WARNING YOU ABOUT THE APPOINTMENT.
MANCHESTER UNITED NEEDS A MANAGER, NOT ANOTHER EXPERIMENT.

During pre-season, a Sporting Lisbon fan reached out to me with confidence that Ruben Amorim would turn it around at Manchester United, highlighting his ability to turn a squad into fighters, a family.
I reached out to him today, asking him whether he was surprised about Amorim's stubbornness at United so far, shown through his inability to show any adaptation to his ways of playing football.
Here was his response:
"Hey Frank, I hope you are well. I am not shocked, even though I never thought it would be so hard for him to have the players doing the basics – but I knew it would be hard.
"Forget the stubbornness, that shouldn’t be your concern. Amorim changes a LOT in his teams – so many times last year we had just 2 in the back, or one of the centre backs going forward and acting like wingers, or one of the midfielders opening on a side to allow for one of the centre backs to go forward. He changes a lot but only once he sees the team are very comfortable with the basic patterns.
"The problem, though, is not this. I’ve said this after Grimsby, he gave up. He sees a team that can only be aggressive in big matches as Arsenal or Chelsea. I know him well and he said everything after that match – he feels he is not capable to make the team understand that they have to give everything in every single match, every little detail. So he gave up.
"I am absolutely confident that, if you guys sack him, he will have a lot of success elsewhere. He has a winner profile and knows a lot about football. The only mistake we’ve made (him and fans that know him well as I do) was to believe that he could make a team out of any group of players. He can’t. And I really can’t see who can make a team out of these United players.
"I don’t know United that well to be able to point the reason why this weak mentality is so prevalent there – I’ve been following Sporting every day for the last 27 years, it’s not the same with United. But I can tell it runs deep in the club. Too many years of bad football heritage.
"Also, you guys have a fanbase that is still not ready to accept being a mid-table team for a couple of years, but that’s what you guys are now.
"Little details (literally two penalties) would have put you in the 7th place now with Man City, but the fanbase is not ready to have the little details go wrong for long.
"Manchester United is huge, but history doesn’t win games and the size of the fanbase doesn’t win titles.
"I don’t think (at all) that he is setting you guys up to lose. I hate Dalot and even I think he should be able to know how to do the basics. Just as I love Bruno and I think he should be able to manage his emotions during the match. There are just too many little things to change. With no time to change them."
Antonio Conte used 4 different formations last season and still won the league with an inferior squad.
➤ Started with 3-4-2-1 for the first 5 games → lost 0
➤ Switched between 4-2-3-1 & 4-3-3 for a couple of months
➤ In January, he used 3-5-2 for 5–6 games
➤ Then went back to 4-3-3, sometimes 4-2-3-1, until the end of the season
Not once did the formation affect the results. They just kept winning. This season he’s using 4-1-4-1 and they’re 1st on the table.
This is the same manager who won the league with Chelsea… and crashed out at Spurs because of mentality.
I guarantee you 100% that at United, he would lose it the same way.
When you have the right mentality and the right work rate, the formation will never be an issue.
To give up sleep is to let go of the ego’s last demand. To stay awake for prayer when the world is asleep is to make space for something greater to rise in you.

A photo before the war and after. Everything said on his face - no other answer needed
People who blame the 3-4-2-1 formation genuinely make me laugh.
- Ten Hag tried the 4-3-3 for two games in his first season and abandoned it because we got humiliated.
- He tried the 4-3-3 for 2 games in his second season as well and then he abandoned it again for the same reason. That season we finished 8th with the 4-2-3-1.
- This season with the 4-2-3-1 we were 13th in the table before he was sacked.
So the 4-3-3 was a disaster, 4-2-3-1 was a awful and now 3-4-2-1 is the problem as well?
How is that possible? Think, people.
It’s the PLAYERS. It’s their mentality. It’s their work rate. It’s the rotten environment filled with entitled, overrated and overpaid players.
There is no system that prevents you from at least working hard. These players are jogging on the pitch.
"His form hasn't dipped, last season, his form spiked!" 🎤
RIcky says Marcus Rashford's back to his usual self with his recent string of poor games, and he's not the wide player #mufc need to succeed.
Do you agree? 👇
"Arsenal finished 8th twice in a row, but they stuck with Arteta and look at them now!" 🤔
