"Are there any Palestinian Muslims inside Palestine advocating for peace?"
An ex-quaker searched far and wide for Palestinians who want and believe in coexistence with Israel.
Here's what he found!
@simonch00 Average returns over any rolling 10, 20, 30 years since inception of DJI (I’ve crunched Schiller’s numbers) is >9%
all that changes is variance (eg no negative 20+ year returns)
J-Cal is right: $10m is FUM
But, that’s not the full picture:
It’s $10m invested in the S&P500 (less 10% in cash, optionally 5% - 10% in well thought out tech investments) for life.
THAT gives you 5% to spend, and another ~4% (all before tax) to reinvest to pay for your annual cpi ‘pay rises’
Now, for extra points: why 5%? You’re into tech (possibly a founder), so you’ll probably beat Bengen’s revised 4.7% Rule
& the biggest long-term risk to this ‘safe withdrawal rate’ is not market crashes, but inflation …
J-Cal says the exact dollar amount at which money stops mattering: $10 million.
Park it, earn 5%, and you're clearing half a million a year without lifting a finger. You can go do whatever you want or nothing at all.
That's real F-U money. Everything past that is just keeping score.
There’s no doubt that Israel’s war in Gaza was not genocide. It is the least likely urban conflict in modern history to meet the standard legal definition of genocide.
And you don't have to take my word for it. Take the word of the High Level Military Group, the HLMG, which is a collection of all the of high level officers and generals from almost all the Western democracies in the world, not just the United States. These people aren't Jews. They have no connection with Israel. They're just generals in militaries around the world.
They wrote a report and a brief to the International Criminal Court, the ICC, saying that Israel’s civilian warning system is completely unlike anything any other country has ever been willing to do for the civilian population of an enemy in wartime. Under this system, Israel tells the civilian population of Gaza exactly where it will be striking the next day and then provides humanitarian corridors for them to leave those zones. They also say it is something our own democracies would never be able to do, because our civilian populations would never stomach endangering the lives of our own soldiers by warning the enemy where our sons and daughters will be.
Israel's unprecedented efforts to protect the lives of civilians in Gaza has taken a very heavy toll on the IDF. Over 800 Israelis have been killed in Gaza precisely because they warned the civilian population to get out of harm's way.
Labor restricted negative gearing in 1985.
Labor introduced capital gains tax in 1985.
Labor formally campaigned in 2016 and 2019 on restricting negative gearing and increasing capital gains tax.
Then, in 2025, Labor promised it would not touch either.
When anyone suggested otherwise, they dismissed it as a “scare campaign”.
Now, one year after the election, they have done exactly what they promised Australians they would not do.
This was not reform. It was deception.
JUST IN: https://t.co/PR8Ho98HOm now redirects to an official White House page stating:
“For 60 years, the U.S. government has kept a closely guarded secret.”
Yes, historically that's accurate for Israel's major territorial gains.
In 1948, after declaring independence per the UN partition, Israel was invaded by Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and others. It defended and secured armistice lines beyond the original plan.
In 1967, Egypt blockaded Israel's shipping, expelled UN peacekeepers, and massed troops on borders with Jordan/Syria joining. Israel struck preemptively, capturing Sinai, Gaza, West Bank, Golan, and E. Jerusalem in a defensive war.
It later returned Sinai (vast area) to Egypt for peace in 1979. 1973 saw another surprise attack by Egypt/Syria that Israel repelled without net gains. Later withdrawals (e.g., Gaza 2005) were unilateral or negotiated.
The "60% less" refers mainly to Sinai's return—land swapped for peace treaties amid repeated attacks. The full picture involves disputed claims, not simple "expansionism."
🚨🔥 UN ÁRABE DE KUWAIT DESTRUYE EL DISCURSO PALESTINO DE LA ONU EN LA ONU‼️
Jasem Aljuraid, periodista kuwaití:
“Señor Presidente,
He oído el término «colonizadores».
Gracias."
CANNOT stop laughing !
It’s called Pallywood for a reason.
Watch this. The idiot is hopping on the wrong leg!
His mate realises and then… SLAP on the back of the head and he switches over

Small Cap Investing is Dead with a 77% spike in Tax Collection
I have run 1,000 Monte Carlo simulations of portfolios of 20 Small Cap Stocks with the New Inflation Corrected CGT model versus the existing 50% CGT discount model.
The results are devastating.
The bottom line is that small caps are highly asymmetric bets where your small number of winners are meant to compensate you for your many losers. Mining companies are a good example of this situation and are a fundamental pillar of our national wealth. However if you tax those few winners at 47% with the trivial relative inflation correction you effectively wipe out the ability to offset your losses. This is because the tax drag on your few multi baggers is so high that it changes the entire logic of the investment process.
It's become a loser's game.
1. The Moonshot Tax Penalty:
Because Australian small caps rely heavily on a right-skewed distribution (a few massive winners offsetting many losers), the Indexation framework introduces a devastating tax penalty. For a stock that goes from $50,000 to $400,000, a 3% inflation adjustment on the original $50,000 cost basis is completely negligible. Under Indexation, you forfeit the 50% discount and pay a flat 47% on nearly the entire gain.
2. The Turnover Trap:
With a 15% annual turnover, small-cap portfolios realize taxes continuously. Under the current system, every partial sale triggers a flat 23.5% effective tax rate, leaving more money inside the portfolio to compound. Under indexation, those early wins are hit at a full 47% clip, severely dampening the portfolio's forward compounding engine.
3. The Asymmetric Loss Failure: in small-cap investing, a stock can only ever lose 100% of its value, but explosive winners have unlimited compounding upside. The government’s asymmetric tax system completely devastates this dynamic: by replacing the flat 50% CGT discount with inflation-indexing for winners only, it leaves your nominal losses capped and completely unable to counteract the massive tax hike on your multi-baggers. Because a 3% inflation buffer barely dents a 400% moonshot gain, you end up paying a brutal, un-discounted 47% tax rate on the very winners that drive a small-cap portfolio's success, causing a 77% spike in total government tax take overall.
Even in investing we see the socialist government wants us all to be the same. Communists.
(Technical notes: Model executed using Gemini Pro with 1,000 portfolios of 20 stocks each with the volatility and median return typical of this class of small cap stocks over the last 10 years, using a geometric mean process to step forward each portfolio each year).
For anyone who has never met the Superb Lyrebird of Australia.

Many people have been chanting:
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free”.
I’m sure it makes them feel pretty good about themselves.
I’ve added this map for their convenience.
Between the River and the Sea…is Israel.
So what you’re actually chanting is “kick-out or kill all the Jews”.
Flashback: Hamas leader Fathi Hammad blew up the entire “indigenous Palestinians” lie in one sentence: the so-called “Palestinians” are nothing but Arab Muslims who invaded and settled in the Land of Israel from Jordan, Egypt, Syria, and everywhere else around them.
There was never a “Palestinian people.” Just opportunistic Arab colonizers with a made-up identity.
The left’s sacred narrative just got torched by their own terrorist heroes.
This is the ultimate red-pill truth they desperately try to hide.
Make this go viral — share it everywhere and educate the brainwashed masses before they can censor it again!
This day (April 21) in 1986, the U.S. government quietly decided to bury forever Yasser Arafat’s cold-blooded murder of two American diplomats rather than bring him to justice.
Thirteen years earlier, on March 1–2, 1973, Arafat’s PLO terrorist group Black September stormed a diplomatic reception at the Saudi embassy in Khartoum, Sudan. They took hostage U.S. Ambassador Cleo A. Noel Jr. and Chargé d’Affaires George Curtis Moore, along with a Belgian diplomat.
The terrorists demanded the release of Sirhan Sirhan (Robert Kennedy’s Palestinian assassin) and other jailed terrorists. President Nixon refused to negotiate.
Then came the orders from Arafat in his Beirut headquarters.
NSA intercepts (later confirmed by CIA reporting) captured Yasser Arafat personally approving and directing the operation from his Beirut headquarters.
Arafat’s top deputy, Abu Jihad, relayed the final command. At 9 p.m. on March 2, the terrorists marched the three diplomats into the basement and riddled them with Kalashnikov fire — shooting from the feet upward to maximize suffering.
Arafat then calmly radioed his killers: “Your mission has ended. Explain your just cause to the great Sudanese Arab masses and international opinion. We are with you on the same road.”
The eight terrorists surrendered the next day. Sudan tried and convicted them, but under PLO pressure, handed them back to Arafat. A farce - the killers were quietly released and then celebrated as heroes.
The U.S. had ironclad evidence — radio intercepts, intelligence cables, and internal PLO admissions — that Arafat personally ordered the murders. Yet, for political reasons, not a single U.S. administration ever pursued him.
In 1986, when 44 U.S. senators begged Attorney General Edwin Meese to indict Arafat, the Justice Department declined, relying on a technicality and dubiously claiming the evidence was somehow “insufficient.”
The real reason was diplomatic convenience. Arafat was being groomed as a “peace partner.” And this naiveté allowed the arch-terrorist Arafat to get away with mass murder over and over.
Arafat went on to hijack planes, order the Munich Olympic massacre, direct suicide bombings - and then he just started showing up at the White House in a uniform and kaffiyeh, shaking hands with presidents and pocketing billions in foreign aid money that was supposed to go to “his people.”
After his refusal of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital at Camp David in 2000 and Taba in 2001 (followed by his ordering the bloody Second Intifada), it became patently obvious Arafat never wanted peace. He wanted prestige, power, and cash. The “peace process” was just the costume he wore while continuing the war by other means.
The families of Cleo Noel and George Moore never got justice. The world moved on and called Arafat a statesman.
That is the appalling truth about the man the international community chose to treat as a legitimate leader and award a Nobel Peace Prize instead of holding him to account as the murdering terrorist he always was.
