Building autonomous racing robocar

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

Anyone used ReBot Arm B601-RS? What project did you build with it?

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@shahdhruv_ Which robot is this and which sim did you use?

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@automo_emo @Ninagawa123 What robot is it?

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@chr1sa @ARIA_research @encode_pillarvc Congratulations!

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@gclue_akira Where can I see the design?

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@DanielChiaJH @a1k0n I am now using GPS for outdoor

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@DanielChiaJH @a1k0n I need to convert my car to Lidar based, the black wall gives me a lot of problem.

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@sterlingcrispin Have you tried to use it outdoor? I am interested in building some traffic/driving AR apps. Can vision pro localize itself outdoor?

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@f1tenth @ieee_ras_icra Where did you buy the pipe?

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@emlid

Continue improve SPC 2.0 cars: simplified components, battery strap, lower body. Run faster.

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@DWalmroth Did you see the difference on indoor (carpet) or outdoor?

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@DWalmroth It would be great to have a body, but I have not figured out how to mount the camera. Could you send me link of the tires?

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

Even both cars crashed, they demonstrated reliable race under high impact. They stoped only because one car lost the battery and the other car damaged the power jack.

My cars race @diyrobocars at UCSD. Thanks @EdwardM26321707 for the video. Thanks Dr .Jack Silberman and @chr1sa for hosting this great event.

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@jessejay356 Yes, AGX is too heavy to use on my car

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@SigmaIntegrale @diyrobocars @UCSDJacobs @chr1sa All drivings in this feed are self driving

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

Race @diyrobocars at @UCSDJacobs thanks @chr1sa for taking the video.

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@SigmaIntegrale @diyrobocars @UCSDJacobs @chr1sa Yes

[Smallpixel Robo Car @SmallpixelCar]

@emurmur77 @donkeycar @diyrobocars @UCSDJacobs @chr1sa Is it because the GPS is not reliable?
