I really hoped my first ever tweet would be something funny and not just whining about healer balance, but oh well...

I’m genuinely flabbergasted by how much Disc has been left in the dirt this tier from the start without a single shred of help or buffs up to this point.

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m that Disc one-trick everyone has had in their guild at some point, the one who would rather get kicked than play Holy Priest instead.

I’ve played Disc Priest through all of its broken states and all of its bad states over the past 7 years, and this might genuinely be the worst it has ever been.

The amount of pure BS you have to put up with by playing a class with movement abilities that were already outdated a decade ago is insane. On top of that, our defensive abilities are so weak that it’s just accepted among Discs that Pain Suppression is basically a personal cooldown rather than a real external. I don’t mind dealing with all of these stupid things, which most other classes in 2025 don’t have to worry about, because I really just love the spec so much. However, the fun ends when, despite all of your effort, you end up being 20% or more behind literally every other healer.

Any Disc main who has ever played a different spec in a progression environment will tell you how insane it is that you have to go through a 20-button ramp sequence (during which you do next to no healing for the first half), while other classes can pump out atleast similar healing in the same window with 80% less setup time.

I know crying about class balance is a common thing, and I’m happy to report we’re not quite as pathetic as Ret Paladins shutting down their Discord over tuning, but just a little bit of love would be appreciated. We don’t need Disc to be the best spec in the game, but when it’s dead last by a mile, it’s very disheartening for anyone to play.

Feeling spicy so I’m coming for all the resto druids that think their spec is fine

I’m all for resto druids doing good hps, but I’d prefer if you had to actually press buttons to do so. Luxuriant Soil probably shouldn’t have 75 ppm simply because you have 7k haste :)

Holy priest being so meta is the single worst thing to ever happen to mythic raiding. Not only do they pad aoe smart heals which heal for 0, you also have to listen to them corn about symbol of hope and get mad at you about personal cooldowns
