@JimMcMurtry01 Brother, you need to breathe and fill your mind with context. Re-orient your thoughts to speaking truth without trying to manipulate your message.
This sort of misleading post is simply unnecessary, and unbecoming of a man of character.
@ericvideos91 This is child making a childish wish.
Because she and her followers lack the means, the ability and the fortitude to make this happen. They cower at the suggestion of violence. At words that describe violence.
So she makes jokes about “I wish all the grown-ups didn’t exist”.
@podmartin I think any activism is political. And it’s the topic du jour.
My support of the changes is largely rooted in my belief the Canadian game needs to remain part of our heritage and must innovate to earn a larger footprint in the sporting and cultural landscape.
@podmartin I wonder if the @CFL ever considered just switching to metric? 100m field is 110y after all. It would definitely present a conundrum for the ElbowsUp crowd on whether to support such a large change.
Side thought:YAC yards become MAC yards. lol screams for a new sponsorship deal
@podmartin I would break it down further.
15 yard end zone: necessary. Zero risk.
Goals moving: logical, and better spot but a huge change. Moderate risk.
Shorten field 10y: logical so FG opportunities don’t reduce too much, fundamental change. High risk.
Fun thought 👇🏼
@podmartin Do you think the CFL is rich enough to afford that process?
I think shortening the end zones was a slam dunk. Needed to happen. Next priority was the goal post. It’s fucked up that it gets in the way.
I think trying with 110 yard field would have been worthwhile though .
@stevemagness It’s been two years and these results have done so little. It’s always the same conversation, “yeah, that was fine initially but it’s not helpful and probably harmful moving forward. (Pause) yes, really, we now know better. (Pause) I know you believe you need to… but stop 🛑
