Carnivore β‘οΈ Keto+Fasting
I shed the weight but never the discipline
Fueled by protein, caffeine, and the shadows within
My neighbor knocked on my door at 11pm once.
Her power went out. She said she just needed to charge her phone for a few minutes.
I let her in. Made tea. We talked until almost 1am.
Two weeks later she came again.
Different problem. Same door. Same welcome.
I never made her feel like she was disturbing me.
Months later my car broke down three streets away. I called her.
The moment she picked up, I could already hear irritation in her voice.
She said she was tired. Then asked, canβt you call someone else? I said okay and hung up.
But I just stood there beside my car holding my phone for a few seconds.
Not angry. Not even hurt. Just confused. Because I started thinking about all the late-night knocks I had answered without hesitation.
Not because I expected repayment. But because I genuinely believed that was how we treated each other. Turns out it was just how I treated her.
Thatβs the dangerous thing about one sided kindness.
While youβre giving, it never feels one sided. It feels like love, like loyalty, like being a good person.
The realization only comes later. Usually in the exact moment you finally needed them back.
Have you ever realized someone only valued your kindness when it benefited them? What made you finally notice? And how did you handle it?
@ItIsMikeFitz Gotcha. I am lucky enough to have a local restaurant near me that is run by an older Korean couple who make the best homemade Kimchi. I've tried so many brands but nothing compares to theirs. Was hoping to find something π
Question about RIR. I'm increasing weight and curious if RIR is ability to do 1 more under any circumstances or if form takes precedent. I can usually do more reps but I know my form breaks down. So is 1 RIR the point where you physically only have the ability to do 1 more or is it the point where you only have 1 more proper lift?
@Amywiththemugs Might want to get a new doctor, Amy. If the question wasn't "When was your last bowel movement?", do they really have your best interest in mind with their treatments?
@KnightmarishJ@TxSecurityGal @hanz69er @doctorcalf @alexwcherry He's a researcher by trade. I asked him if he is collecting data on himself as he would any other research. He said yes. It will be very interesting if he chooses to release said data. Especially if he continues tracking it for a prolonged period of time.
I'm giving away a pair of Shokz Open Fit Earbuds, retail value $150.00. I used them for a few weeks but didn't like them because they don't have noise cancellation.
Winner must be following me and live in the continental US. Simply repost this tweet to enter. I'll ask @grok to pick a winner on Nov. 23.
