For the past 2 days, I’ve made a wild hair decision to forgo listening to Spotify while driving.
Instead, I’ve opted to tune in our most local radio station(the next town over from me)…something I haven’t done in years.
It’s a truly old school operation with real, live on-air folks speaking in our regional countrified dialect about events in our area…spinning classic country music interspersed with ads for local businesses. There was a time I would’ve considered all this lame. Today it hits gloriously different.
Today(Sunday) it was wall to wall religious programming…with both black and white church services all day. Old school black gospel and southern quartets. Not necessarily my main jam, but today I loved it. As I listened, it felt like I had traveled back to the 1970s.
If you still have one, I highly recommend you ditch the technology(even if for a day or two) and rediscover your local radio station.
@Neuroscope_mp@DaviskennLives@hemrams I see.
Because my wife has Alzheimer’s, in my excitement upon seeing your info, I didn’t realize Buntanetap is being developed for patients who suffer from both AD and PD…and not so much those suffering from one of the two.
After watching her father suffer and eventually succumb to that merciless disease, my wife, was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s herself. She’s only 62.
Any news of a possible breakthrough drug or treatment is a welcome glimmer of hope. If it indeed becomes a reality, it would be an unfathomable blessing.
I pray with my whole heart for this miracle.
