@JaneidyEve I live in Los Fresnos and have an RV next to the old As Aastra subdivision out by Starbase. I bounce back and forth between the two each week at random. And no, I’m not a creepy person. Love the space program in general.
The Inspired 24 is excited to announce that we will be holding our 5th Spaceflight Training Class on September 26th & 27th in Houston, TX.
The 2-day class will be held at the Clear Lake City Community Association (CLCCA) facility located near NASA Johnson Space Center and Space Center Houston, JSC’s official visitors center.
Day 1 of the class will involve spacesuit familiarization and practical experience. You will “Don” a suit with the help of your team and test your skills at moving, working and completing tasks in a confined environment.
Day 2 of the class will be all about water egress training. You will learn how to safely egress a parachute harness after entering the water, simulating an emergency egress from your vehicle. Then you and your team will work together in the water while wearing survival suits and ingress your life raft. A definite team building experience.
By the end of the course, participants will have had a thorough introduction to spacesuit operational protocols and spacecraft egress. Participants who successfully complete the I24 Spaceflight Training Class will receive a non-credit certificate of completion from The Inspired 24. The certificate serves as evidence that the participant has completed all requirements for this professional development course.
The 2-day class will cost $1000* for I24 members, $1500* for non-members. (*Does not include hotel, airfare or meals) I24 will be of assistance getting you around Houston from airports to hotels to training facility, etc.
The class size will limited to 6 students for Class #5, but we plan on growing the class to at least 8 for future classes.

@AstroAcaba I would be honored if I could obtain and autographed lithograph made out to me. I will display it next to my patch/pic/COA. I’m also a class 2 member of @theinspired24 .

All personnel are accounted for and safe. It’s too early to know the root cause but we’re already working to find it. Very rough day, but we’ll rebuild whatever needs rebuilding and get back to flying. It’s worth it.
