@llwtydeer I knew she was involved somehow anyway, always had her grubby little hands in things where she didn't belong...in spite of the error, still a Tory mess and my point still stands
@llwtydeer There's a complete disconnect from the city of Manchester to those who live outside the city boundaries in many of the surrounding towns, all thanks to Thatcher's gov's botch job of a "county" creation
@llwtydeer Talking to any Salfordian will instantly change your mind on this...there are 2 cities in Greater Manchester...and the next largest place, Stockport has it's own cultural identity separate to these, and then there's the likes of Wigan and Bolton who are separate again....
Ive found out that you can prevent chocolate digestives from going stale by eating the packet in one go. This also works for other types of biscuits too.
@macciesshank3AM@uncreativetom Trust me...the do...I lost my deposit after cleaning my studio when I was at uni because they saw a small speck of blue duck toilet cleaner still in the toilet....you know a cleaning product that goes away when you flush the toilet....it is completely a scam
@CJay951@PaulineOta Having said all this, yes I do agree that the ever increasing number of data centres being built when water infrastructure, food security, housing and climate change are not taken seriously first is a problem...and I'm saying this as both a pc enthusiast and a comp. scientist
@CJay951@PaulineOta What does consume vast amounts of water is electricity production used to supply the data centres with Terawatts of electricity. This is the main problem when it comes to water scarcity, not the data centres themselves...it's here such frustrations about water use should lie /5
@CJay951@PaulineOta Not to start a new argument but your anger is pointed to the wrong thing. The amount of water as a % of total water use compared to other industries is miniscule. Sports fields use several orders of magnitude more water than the entire data centre industry combined. 1/x
@CJay951@PaulineOta The problem isn't the fact that people can't use their hoses to water the lawn, but the fact that there isn't enough water to go around for people to use their hoses to water the lawn
@Ajax62859643753@MichaelSlade16@KeithRandall10@mrscmway I don't think I've ever seen someone so blatantly ignore facts so much as you in just a couple of posts. Greenhouse gases trap heat; and if anyone is more likely to be a flat earther it's you with your ignorance is bliss approach...I shudder to think of your level of education.
@Tonyyyy_Xx@wiIlholt In fairness to the comment, there was a time where the SNP was known as being "tartan tories" and much of their politics still has remnants of those days given the more recent party "split"....
