@MLS_Dave We are held together by the seams at this point. Academic medicine is being propped up by med students and residents in greater numbers. Attending faculty are barely holding on, many just waiting for July 1. We are going to see more retirements and attrition.

@markwwilsonmd I had to explain to my hospital CEO that I could either buy a subscription to Nature or keep the nursing point of care database, but we could not afford both with the current library budget. I did get to keep the database, still waiting on the promised budget bump.

@londyloo Conference spaces are booked, a certain percentage of room sales are guaranteed. Many orgs are going to lose tens of thousands of dollars on large conferences because it is unsafe to travel.
