@GeniusGTX Does Ai eat? Does Ai drink? Breath? Clothing? We are not in competition for the same resources as Ai.

Ai needs electric power, compute, and a cool safe environment. Space and a nearby star(sun) or cluster of stars(galactic core) are likely its destination.

In an age where people scroll past everything, the Royal Portuguese Cabinet of Reading reminds us that civilization survives when people still build beautiful places for the mind.

[Soccer Convert @SoccerConvert]

@FinanceLancelot Eerily reminiscent of some of criticism thrown at Warren Buffett in 1999. It’s NOT different this time. Collateral and custody matter in an over-leveraged hypothecated network of derivatives on top of derivatives. Or you can believe your counter party is fully ‘hedged’.

[Soccer Convert @SoccerConvert]

@NickNemo17 I think you’re underplaying the amount of stacked leverage. Factor in the derivatives too. It’s higher than you think. Illiquid assets and high leverage ratios sounds fun. Warsh and Bessent are not Bernanke and Paulson. I’ve got a PPLI to sell you though.

Remember, stay in The Boat.

On Sundays, we post churches.

Church of St Peter and St Paul (1701) in Vilnius, Lithuania 🇱🇹

And yes — there’s a boat hanging inside.

Saint Peter was a fisherman, and the boat is the sign of the life he left behind to follow Christ.

@NickTimiraos Publicly state no preconceived rate path and ending dot plots today or next meeting. Start stealth market operations slowly buying long end and sell short end, ‘stealth’ Twist. Slowly lower short term rates as the long end slowly approaches. Slowly draw reduce monetary dominance.

@herculezg Americans scoring on Trivelas in a WC against a S American team. Are you not entertained?

[Soccer Convert @SoccerConvert]

@ManifestHistory @No14me146418 Thus this government intervention incentivizes (Moral Hazard) imprudent behavior leading to less stability and high economic volatility and disincentives the prudent investor whose avoids loses market share until he’s force to join the imprudent or fail. Vicious cycle.

[Soccer Convert @SoccerConvert]

@ManifestHistory @No14me146418 Bailouts eliminate the natural corrective force to the leveraged imprudent investor which is its inverse the prudent non leveraged investor who avoids the bandwagons and has the cash to deploy to acquire and then fix the mess created by the over leveraged investors imprudence.

1500 years old and it still looks like this.

The mosaics in Basilica di San Vitale in Ravenna are straight-up unreal.

How did they create this masterpiece in the 6th century?!

[Soccer Convert @SoccerConvert]

@GentlemenDigest Thomas Jefferson actually collected and gave away or lost to fire three separate library collections. This man devoured and consumed books in the colonies, collected them, and then gave them away to what became educational institutions. GOAT book collector.
