I’d love to ask a few questions:

1. How does auto/optimized targeting ensure that ads are served not only to users likely to engage, but also to those who fall within the advertiser’s target audience?

2. What types of data signals are embedded in vectors used for ad targeting and optimization?

3. For campaigns with a sales/conversion objective, what is the relative weighting of pixel based (off platform) behavioral data versus on platform engagement signals in the optimization process?

X is going to take ads seriously 🔥

Don’t underestimate the potential of X Ads. Twitter did a poor job delivering ads to the right audience and still got ~$5 billion in ad revenue.

Instagram generates ~$48 per user per year. Even TikTok does $15 per user per year. This range would easily scale X Ad revenue beyond $10 billion per year at the current number of active users.

Delivering every ad to the right audience will get X to this range, and users will enjoy the ads they are seeing in their timelines.
