Update: 125,560 Black people in Louisiana have gone to vote. These numbers are down from 2020. We now have 816,440 Black people who can got vote between now and Saturday.
Again you all in the last 24 hours by the thousands shared the last post. Let’s get active by tagging people and directly asking them do they plan to early vote. Text the video and ask them if they will go tomorrow. We can collectively run the numbers up.
We live in a time where digital civic engagement is possible if we are strategic. I’m not talking just to talk, I’m telling you we can do something everyday until the last day to vote on November 5th.
They win, because we think we can’t do anything. We can. So let’s do something.
There are 800,000 Black people in Louisiana remaining to vote. If we can do better we can fight to get funding to win our own statewide races.
.@rolandsmartin addresses #Blackmen who either support #Trump or choose not to #vote at all. It's important to #watch and #listen! In the context of #MarcellusWilliams' #execution, the #liberal justices appointed by #Obama and #Biden expressed a desire to pause the execution to consider additional #evidence. In contrast, the #conservative justices appointed by #Bush and #Trump pushed for the execution to proceed without delay. To emphasize, Trump oversaw the execution of 13 Black men in the final six months of his #presidency. The last #federal execution took place just five days before #JoeBiden was #inaugurated, a known opponent of federal #deathpenalty, but some black men want trump in office 🤨🤔!

I’m not sure what black woman experience @andrewschulz has had, but it hasn’t been the real “black girlfriend effect”. To insult black women and described them as complainers & abusive isn’t just untrue. It’s disrespectful. Even worse, James Duncan & Fuhad Dawodu allowing him to say it is more insulting.
Andrew Schultz spoke that way in front of two black men because they allowed him to. They made him comfortable enough to disrespect black women because they didn’t force him to respect them.
My experience is that black women are powerful, beautiful, strong, and supportive. They prioritize black family, community, & culture. They take steps back to push their men, and families forward. So, no Andrew the “black girlfriend effect” is nothing like what you described. I’m just upset that you don’t have enough solid black men around you to tell you differently!
