Microsoft has fired Alon Haimovich, the head of its Israeli subsidiary, and several other managers.
An internal investigation found serious problems with the company’s work for Israel’s Defense Ministry.
Microsoft cloud services were used to store recordings of millions of Palestinian phone calls every day on servers in Europe. The company had already ended some access in 2025 but uncovered more issues in the review.
The Israeli branch will now be managed from France.
