1/ Manc cyclists - what's the safest and least ridiculous way to cycle my daughter from sandy lane in Chorlton to Victoria park in Stretford? Have tried going up the a5145 where at least some has a supposed bike lane, but get cut up a lot, forced out the bike lane by parked cars,

Accused of 'child abuse' by men in vans. My stepdaughter enjoys it, and it's very difficult by public transport. Also get shouted at for riding on the pavement. we use a trailgator. Any advice much appreciated. @WalkRideGM @WlkRideChorlton @MCRCycleSam ( hope it's ok to tag you?)

@MCRCycleSam @MShiltonGodwin @evefrancisholt @bricycle Please! This spot is so dangerous because of cars pulling out of Morissons to edge into to queue and not looking, and then side swiping into cyclists because the lane is not protected and they don't look. Been hit several times here.

At pick-up and drop-off its a tragedy, kids having to navigate tight choke points or walk into the road cos the pavements are full of idling cars.

@radiodario @syn @dave And it's not to say we won't need protests, tenants unions, more climate strikes, it's that we need our solidarity economy alongside that, to keep us going, to overcome isolation, despair, hunger, atomisation. It's the de-commodification of care.
