There's a lot of disinformation about the forests going up in smoke around Jerusalem.
Here is a short clip from a talk I gave at one of the forests planted by Israel over the 500-plus Palestinian villages it destroyed in 1948 during the Nakba to stop the inhabitants returning.
This video shows Israelis beating an American child to a pulp on camera.
lsraeIis just executed a 14 year old American child in the West Bank.
America’s greatest ally.
Israel murdered a journalist today.
Israel is the greatest threat to press freedom in the world and murders a journalist, on average, every two days.
16 days is the longest Israel went without murdering a journalist, since we started tracking.
We at @amnesty are extremely concerned over the fate & wellbeing of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan hospital who was detained by Israeli forces along with others during a raid on the hospital on 27 December. He must be released immediately and unconditionally.
For months Dr. Abu Safiya has been the voice of Gaza’s decimated health sector, appealing for the protection of his hospital and working under inhumane conditions, including following the killing of his son.
The raid, the latest in a series of attacks on healthcare facilities in North Gaza over the past two months, put Kamal Adwan, the last remaining major hospital in the area, out of service.
Since the beginning of its genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, Israel has detained hundreds of Palestinian healthcare workers from Gaza without charge or trial. Health workers have been subjected to torture and other ill-treatment and been held in incommunicado detention.
Israel must immediately release all Palestinians arbitrarily detained, including health workers. Hospitals and health workers are not targets. The int'l community esp Israel's allies must act to bring an end to Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in Gaza #EndGazaGenocide
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya has been confirmed to be in Sde Teiman detention center by released prisoner Yahya Zaqqout, who reported hearing his name during morning roll call. CNN corroborated the same story through released prisoners Ahmad Al Sayyed Saleem and Alaa Abu Banat, who were abducted from a checkpoint in North Gaza by Israeli occupation forces and released yesterday. Both accounts describe inhumane conditions in the detention center, where prisoners endure freezing temperatures, systematic punishment, and confinement in cages resembling those used for animals.
This interview was filmed yesterday after the prisoners were released to the European Hospital in Central Gaza through the Karam Abu Salem crossing.

BREAKING: ISraeli F-16 kills 50, incl 5 medical staff, reports Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Kamal Adwan hospital:
"There are approximately 50 martyrs, including three of our medical staff, under the rubble of a building opposite Kamal Adwan Hospital after an airstrike by the occupying forces.
Dr. Ahmed Samour, a pediatrician, was working in the hospital and went out to the tower where he lives with his family.
As for Esraa, the laboratory technician, she went out to bring food for her father and brother in the same building, and they were immediately targeted in a airstrike from an Israeli F-16.
When Fares, the maintenance technician, saw the scene, he rushed to try to rescue what he could; unfortunately, he was also targeted, resulting in the martyrdom of three of our medical staff and 50 others under the rubble.
As for the paramedics, Abdul Majid and Maher, they were on their way to the hospital near Zayed Roundabout, which is 500 meters from the hospital, when they were targeted and martyred instantly, and their bodies remain in the street where no one can reach them.
It is another dark day in the ongoing series of crimes against Kamal Adwan Hospital and its staff."
🚨BREAKING: Legal Action Against BP for Negligence in Facilitating Oil Supply to Israel Amid Ongoing Human Rights Violations 🚨
In a groundbreaking move, on behalf of Palestinian victims of alleged war crimes, Bindmans LLP has commenced the first step in a landmark legal claim against BP plc and the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline Company (BTC Co) by issuing a formal Letter Before Claim for a Civil Tort Negligence claim.
The claim alleges complicity in fuelling ongoing violations of international law and human rights in Gaza and focuses on BP’s continued supply and facilitation of crude oil to Israel via the BTC Pipeline, a critical infrastructure operated and majority-owned by BP.
Since October 2023, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza has escalated catastrophically, with over 43,000 deaths, massive displacement, and the collapse of essential services. Despite this, BP’s oil continues to reach Israel, fuelling military operations that have been linked to alleged human rights abuses, including war crimes and genocide.
The claimants are supported by the legal advocacy group, the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians @ICJPalestine, who were also instrumental in gathering evidence of BP's alleged negligence and potential complicity in war crimes.
The Letter Before Claim seeks:
➡️ An immediate halt to BP’s supply and facilitation of oil to Israel.
➡️ Full transparency through the disclosure of relevant documents and policies.
➡️ BP’s admission of liability and commitment to mediate damages.
➡️ A public apology for the harm caused to the claimants.
The Human Impact:
Our clients include individuals who have lost loved ones and suffered severe physical and psychological harm as a direct result of Israel's attacks in Gaza. This case is about seeking justice for them and holding BP accountable for its role in exacerbating the suffering.
A Message from Tayab Ali, Partner at Bindmans LLP
"The evidence against BP highlights an apparent failure to adhere to its human rights commitments. By facilitating oil transport to Israel’s military infrastructure, BP may have contributed to a humanitarian catastrophe. Our clients deserve justice, and we urge BP to act responsibly and halt its involvement immediately."
Let’s hold corporations accountable for their actions. 🌍

NEW at @DropSiteNews: Complaint Filed Against French-Israeli Soldier by Human Rights Groups Over Alleged Torture
“Look, they tortured him to make him talk," he is heard saying of a Palestinian detainee in a video posted online in March.

Husband and wife, Muhammad and ‘Abir Jaber, were on their way to get groceries in the neighborhood of Jabal Johar in Hebron when they were attacked by soldiers who hurled a stun grenade into their car.
"I heard my wife shout, “Grenade! Grenade!” I turned my head to see what she meant, and the grenade exploded right by my face. I felt something hit the back of my head, and then I passed out."
Muhammad's full testimony is available in our latest report "Unleashed: Abuse of Palestinians by Israeli soldiers in the center of Hebron" on our site >> https://t.co/lj8lsymAub
