The only Internationally recognized sovereign Somali Government with powers to contract is the Federal Republic of Somalia with Mogadishu as its seat of Government. PM Abiy representing the Federal Government of Ethiopia cannot sign a deal with a regional state. That is a sure recipe for a conflict in HOA. I had a lot of faith in PM Abiy ability to create durable peace in the HOA. Unfortunately hopes for HOA peace and economic integration are increasingly in peril. AU’s charter forbids secessions & respects the inviolability of the territorial integrity of all member States. This is a dangerous move for the Region and the wider continent. TPLF/Meles lost big time because of such reckless adventurism. The Somali Nation & the never accept such transgression.

Another tragedy, another sad day for Somalia's young generation after a terrorist blew himself up at a local busy restaurant. We remain confident that the tenacity and the solidarity of this generation will eventually outlast the threats of such evil in all its forms.
