@butchbatnix I think the more likely and troubling outcome is that the world does not end. It will just get progressively worse. There’s no end to this.
See, another example of how superior the SW Prequels are to the Sequel. No one wants to bang while watching the Sequels. It’s unfathomable. An entirely un-fuckable trio of movies.
@Aerona_Ryan I just acquired the “Adventure in Transylvania” LEGO set. It is a limited edition Bricklink Designer winner and also very cool. I also like my steaks rare and have recently discovered a touch of gray in my stubble. For your consideration. 🤷🏻♂️
@JuliaHB1 Means testing programs usually leads to higher program costs than providing universal services. If you means test, you then have to pay for the structure (rules/enforcement) to make that happen. Also, who gives a shit. School meals should be universally free for chkldren.
@zapatas_mom America is expensive and most of us just can’t afford that lifestyle. Even though it probably pays for itself eventually given monthly commuting expenditures (gas, parking, maintenance).
@zapatas_mom It’s not that I don’t want that to live in a walkable area—I would love that!—but these places are very much unaffordable for me. The close as I can feasibly get is 10 minutes from downtown (Columbus, Ohio, in my situation).
@mesitariuswoods I’m from West Virginia, which is in the Appalachian Mountains. Deer meat (venison) and cornbread (NOT sweet) are comfort food for me. I’m a fiend for cheeseburgers, though.
One thing I don’t like is when people say “it’s over”. It’s not over. It’s never over. One day, billions (?) of years from now, it will be over. Until then, it’ll just be worse and worse. There is no bottom.
There is no apocalypse; there are only terrible new beginnings.
Meta has patented an AI model that can "simulate" a person's social media activity after they die.
With this AI a dead person’s profile can keep performing tasks like responding to content posted by real people.
