Punjab: We had a great time engaging with out-of-school youth in Faisalabad, Toba Tekh Singh and Chiniot as part of our CPDI project "Citizens for Good Governance: Strengthening Citizens’ Engagement for Inclusive and Accountable Local Governance".
We discussed how youth can use their skills to solve governance issues and improve service delivery. We also learned about good governance principles such as effectiveness, transparency, accountability and responsibility.
We had a special session on climate change and how youth can play a key role in mitigating and adapting to its impacts. We were glad to have some government officials join us and share their views on citizen participation in governance.
